Do YOU cheat?

i use cheats when i want to start a family that isn't poor. Sometimes its fun to start out with jobs, relationships, and money.


I always feel guilty using them so i made an entire neighborhood where i dont use any cheats except for like, weddings and stuff like that.

I've only memorized each one by heart ;D mostly for decorational purposes though razz most of the time when I play Sims I do the Legacy Challenge, so a lot of cheats are 'banned' when I play. Except when glitches occur, then testingcheatsenabled is a must...

I've never really used any money cheats unless I am JUST a few simoleons off, or if I have TOO many simoleons and wanna get rid of a few.

And my hacks folder has more hacks than my hair folder has hair xD I love making my game more interesting.

I use the motherlode cheat and occasionally the moveobects on cheat. i've been trying to do the stretchskeleton cheat but i can't get it. anyone know how?

I really try not to, but it's not my fault I forget to feed them! sweatdrop I usually use motherlode to make a nice house, but...yeah. biggrin

I use cheats a lot. some times it has to be done. Like when your play then leave and forget to pause and you come back and the sims are about to die.

i used to cheat all the time, but it kinda got boring for me, and now i dont use them anymore, (except in special occasions, when im utterly bored) lol

I usually cheat 5 times per month ("MotherLoad")
That's the only cheat I need. 3nodding

Yup I always do. My Sim alter-egos sleep with 10 sims in one go everyday. twisted

i only cheat to get the money and the career rewards.

Yep. For my legacy family, it's been soooo hard not to cheat (and I've actually used maxmotives a few times as a treat for them working especially hard). I also use move_objects if I want to redesign some areas of my house that I don't feel like moving my sims from (I just click and relocate) or I use it to design. I've used some other design cheats (rotating things 45 degrees + snaptogrid false) as well.

On my other families, I tend to use maxmotives or just turn motive decay off if I want to play around with them without having to worry about their needs. It's easy enough to handle them with their needs turned on and without cheating (I've never had a sim die from not getting their needs met when I don't use cheats), because I like to keep everything maxed or close to it, but it just wastes playing time if I want them to do something else instead.

I just can't stop! Once I started using maxmotives or motherlode... my hands just kinda typed in the cheats every few minutes!! It's kinda scary... oh well! smile smile

I'm just curious of the amount of people who use cheat codes on Sims 2.

I for one do not, and as a result, had to actually delete a family because of poverty.

I use testingCheatsenabled and motherlode but usually thats it. Every once in a while i do a family without cheats. Its really hard to get any sort of nice house without money cheats. But doing it with out testingCheatsenabled is not that hard and is pretty fun!

I almost always use cheats. When I tried using no cheats stuff got messed up. Like my sims seem to like talking in the bathrooms so I sometimes move them out (why would they even want to talk in the bathroom? >_>). Also to make their aspiration meters go up and make sure they don't die. And motherlode so that they can have a nice house. ^^;
