Raising his eyebrows at the kiss, his expression softened to a knowing smile. "And you said you needed advice..." he murmured to Sosol, sipping his drink.

"I'm sorry for crushing you... And I would love to here about it..." MacPere raised his brows at Sosol's kiss and chuckled, giving the Oracle's shoulder a light pat as he walked to the indicated table. "That too..."

Azana sat down enthusiastically, wincing again. "Ugh...forgot about that one," she said to herself, getting comfortable before starting to tell the story of the past day or so...she had lost track of time in HQ.
"Well, I'll just say to start, I had help. A surprising amount of it...some people, or spirits, just can't take no for an answer." She whistled, and the two wolf spirits jumped through the door...literally. They returned to their puppy forms and made their way toward Emily to comfort her again.
"Besides those two, I found myself with Kageko again...and, believe it or not, Fenyx decided to drop by in the last bit of it. I'll have to thank him later for the recharge," she trailed off a bit before getting back on topic. "Yeah, so we showed up...Sosol, myself, and those two little rascals, and the place is empty. I mean empty. No agents anywhere...it was creepy. Turns out that hunk of junk James is sorting through was ready to go...they were rounding everyone up."
A glass landed on the table, Sosol waving from the bar with a smile, which she returned. A deep sip of what happened to be in the glass (apple cider, it turned out), and she was ready again.
"We get to the main foyer, and the Pentalpha Squad pops out of what seems like nowhere. Bunch of high-level Pentacle agents, and all hell breaks loose in that room. Wolf spirits making tackles, I'm stunning a few of them...until tall and handsome over there releases a shockwave and knocks 'em all into the walls. It was pretty badass, actually..."
((Brb in about half an hour...gotta go to practicum. ^_^))

Remy appeared at the top of the stairs. It looked like his new friends had come back, and everyone had arrived safely. Sighing in relief, he came down to join everyone. "Welcome back!" he chirruped happily, waving.
Emily, sitting up straight in Gren's lap, began braiding the left half of his bangs, unbeknown to him as he was listening intently. She dropped the braid at the arrival of Darth and Glenda, laughing as they vigorously licked her face.

MacPere took a sip of port and chuckled at Sosol's description, casting him a glance. "I don't see why you're so surprised at the help... It's hard to not love you, Azana. Did you make it through them alright?"

Taking a swig of his gimlet, Gren spotted his braid. "Hey..!" he muttered, giving Emily a questioning look. She giggled and the pups immediately began crowding him for attention as well, tails wagging furiously

To the cry of Gren, MacPere flicked his eyes to his lover and smiled with amusement into his glass, allowing Azana to enjoy her drink. Hah... That plait did indeed look familiar...

Keeping his seat, he managed to convince the puppies to calm down and let him finish his drink. Finding eyes upon him, he smirked. "Watch out, or she'll do it to you too..."
"Braid his hair? It's kind of...short."
"Never stops a five year-old."

MacPere lifted his drink away and pouted, taking his hair with his free hand, and bringing it around to his vision, observing the length. "Heh, she can try... Besides, I was thinking of cutting it..."

((Back..but I may be in and out as my help is needed.))
Azana gave a contented sigh, the kind when one's thirst is quenched, and finally got around to answering MacPere, kind of amused about the hair discussion. "No, I was fine...Sosol did one of those 'I'll hold them off' things and let me go ahead."
"Hey!" Sosol interjected, sitting down next to her. "I just knew we didn't have time to waste..."
"I know, I know...just teasing," she shook her head, still smiling, and continued. "So I found the elevator and rode up with Glenda, ran down the hall toward Uncle's office...and right into a veiled portal." It was not one of her smoother moves, she'd admit...but hey, she wasn't going to hold back for her "relative". The thought still amused her. "I ended up in the GMO's Arena...which is a lot tamer than it sounds. It's just a place for people to practice and spar...and you can guess who was waiting for me there."
Sosol took a sip and chimed in. "James called me at that point, saying he'd lost track of her...then I gave him the bright idea of checking the security cameras. We found her, but he had to give me step by step directions through that maze of a place...you have no idea how long it took me to get there."

-Aris made his way carefully to the inn carrying Ale, upon getting to the door he opened it carefully keeping Ale from hitting the door or the molding and he pushed the door open with his foot-
"Man, its been awhile heh. That was one long date, but I gotta admit it was great."
-he said looking at Ale's sleeping face smiling softly-
"Afternoon boys!" -Aris said when he saw Gren and MacPere before he started heading up to his room to lie her in his bed-
