True, but a well placed bullet to the shoulder or hips will slow the beast down so that you can make the killing blow through it's neck. Never shoot the head- too thick, unless you get it in the eye.

Indeed. Apparently my Uncle's killed his fair share of deer. He must be pretty good I would imagine. Although it must run in the family as my Pop was a good shot too. I think the blood's carried onto me somehow, not to talk myself up or anything.

I know I have to hand eye coordination to accuratly fire a gun, all I have to do is get my hands on one again.
