"Well, there's the fact that she tried to kill me...twice. Or the mission marathon she sent me on a couple months back...or..." After a two to three minute list, she stopped with a sigh. "But...I did promise her, and she's improved a lot since I took care of Uncle." She finished her drink.
"I just wish she could have flat-out asked me...I hate that underhanded stuff."
"Even though you use it now and then," Sosol retorted, kissing her cheek. "You make no sense sometimes."
"That's plenty of logic! It's called 'hypocrisy'," Azana joked, laughing a little before she began to yawn. "Oh, sorry, Gren...you're not boring, I promise."

Azana nodded and turned to Sosol, a playful look in her eye. "Hey handsome, why don't you take me home with you...?"
Sosol rolled his eyes for a moment but smiled. "A beautiful girl like you...? Of course. Goodnight, Gren. I hope MacPere's better tomorrow."
"Goodnight!" Azana repeated, beaming as she gave Sosol a kiss and they vanished into nothingness, heading back to Azana's new home.

"I hope so too...night you two!" he said with a smile and a wink, before redirecting his attention to MacPere, tracing a loving finger gently over nuances in has face. He looked quite peaceful,so Gren held no reservations about his actions. He'd need to get to a real bed soon...a lap is no place for the ill.
"Oh, it's not like I have anything else to do...I don't sleep anymore anyway, so it'll be kind of fun, like a scavenger hunt or something." He smiled fangily.

"O-okay..." he said, sitting, a fang still hanging about on his lower lip. "but I haven't much to talk about...I'm not that interesting, I'm afraid."
Moving carefully, Gren inched out from underneath MacPere's head, laying it gently onto the couch before standing and stretching, his back grateful for the move. He cautiously lifted the sleeping man in the blanket, supporting the head as he carried the supine form to a comfortable bed. "Night, you two..." he murmured.
(I'm pretty bushed, but I've got a few posts left in me... smile )

"Night Gren! Sleep tight, snoozy MacPere." She waved at the two, all too aware that MacPere couldn't even hear her. Still, it didn't matter. She turned to Remy, frowning at him. "Don't be so silly. Everyone has something of interest about them~!"
((Actually, I'mma dash off for the night. One of my wisdom teeth are coming through and it's giving me a right sore mouth and a headache. Think I'll go stuff some painkillers down me and get some rest. ><;; <3 Night! Sorry to leave you on that note. Pain. xD))

Slowly waking and sitting up in, what appeared to be, his bed; MacPere groaned and rose a hand to his head in complaint - only to find that the ache of a migraine had disappeared. Well... It seemed that Ale was in fact as magical as she looked... He would have to buy her something in thanks later.

Humming a jaunty tune, Gren stood in the kitchen next to a steaming wok, tossing in freshly-cut vegetables and meat. It was Chinese New Year, and he liked any reason to celebrate. He decided that the best way to show his levity would be to make dinner, with stir-fry and dim sum, with lotus paste buns for dessert.
(It's like the entire day's been a conspiracy to keep me off the computer...)

"Right... So all has been booked? Alright, I shall meet you there tomorrow. Take care." Hanging up the phone as he reached the bottom of the stairs, MacPere smiled to himself. Tomorrow would be perfect...
Smelling the fry from the kitchen, he plucked a rose from a vase and placed it between his teeth, walking through the door and standing against its frame, watching for a while.

Stirring the rice and tossing the vegetables, catching them in the wok, he smiled joyously at the firgure in the doorway. "Feeling better, love? You're looking very handsome today..."
