Baseball and New York is right, actually. I'm not a fan of them, though. I've got the San Francisco Giants...even though they've sucked since 2002.

I've heard of the yankees but no nothing other than their name, being British and all.

Yeah, they're a baseball team. Rivals of the Boston Red Sox, another baseball team.

I'd love to go to another baseball game, though. Those are fun. I haven't been to one for almost four years.

See, over here they call it rounders. Plus they've made it into a girls game, so if any bloke wants to play it, they get laughed at.
I used to enjoy playing baseball when I was little.

I played T-ball one time.
It's baseball but they don't throw the ball at you, you hit it off a tee. I am poor at it.

I only watch hockey on TV. Sometimes soccer, but it's only entertaining because I know how to play.

I used to work with a guy who's brother plays hockey professionally out in the US.
He plays for the Buffalo Sabres.

Yeah, the closest hockey team to where I live is the San Jose Sharks. Near my university is the Ducks. I went to my first hockey game when I was eighteen.

I remember playing hockey when we were at school. But it was that crap game you play with the plastic hockey sticks and a tennis ball.

We never really played any sports other than football to be honest.

Ah, yes, football. The name we Americans should have given it in the first place. razz

Yes, well, we won't get into that. That's a debate that's been going for ages.

What debate? There's no debate necessary; we were idiots to call a sport that involves throwing and carrying a ball 97% of the time "football."

For some reason there is a lot of people that disagree with you and think we got it wrong.

...Well...their IQ must be defiantly low. Like, "no common sense, all argument and beer drinking" low.

You know, since the name "football" implies that it's a game of ball that involves using your goddamn feet.
