Noting a voice from the stairs, MacPere turned around and smiled warmly. "Well, if it isn't that beautiful woman I had the pleasure of meeting some time ago... I'm afraid that the problem is uncertain as of this point..." He placed down his glass and scratched his chest thoughtfully. "Gren, I think I'll have to take up that offer..."

"Yeah, I had some trouble with the temperature...luckily, it was something I could fix for myself," she replied before she was greeted by none other than the same redhead she had been checking out during her last visit.
"O-oh...nice to see you again," she replied with a small nod, averting her gaze somewhat. "You know...I could help...with the water." She offered, looking in the direction Gren came from.
"I'm sure a small spell could unfreeze things...it worked for me, after all."

MacPere hummed to himself at the averted gaze and somewhat detached manner. Peculiar... He wasn't too unpleasant to look at, was he?

Stella grinned a little, always happy to display her skills, and explained. "Well, as far as you say, either a pipe is frozen, or the hot water is depleted...a weak fire spell would fix both simultaneously. Warm the water and pipes, and a pleasant shower is sure to follow."
She glanced to MacPere momentarily, noticing he seemed a little puzzled by her actions. Geez, Stella...it's not like you'll burst in flames or anything. Besides, he's really handsome. No, focus...
"Give me a couple minutes, and I'm sure you'll be pleased," she addressed the redhead directly before heading down the stairs toward the boiler room...

"She is indeed..." He threw his arms in the air in jubilation, forgetting that he was in fact holding the towel together. "And now I can shower--!" He scrambled to pick the cloth back up with a cough, holding a hand over his mouth.

Laughing, Gren walked over and patted him one the back. "Don't need you catching cold...tell you what. You head upstairs and run the water until it's hot, and yell down to me when it's all set and she can stop, or however this spell works."

"Aye aye gorgeous~" He stepped to the stairs with a salute and a wink, strolling to his room and into the en suite, turning the shower's dial back on and waiting.

The fact of the matter was Stella had simply guessed what was wrong with the boiler, since those were the two main reasons the hot water would stop working all across the Inn. Well, that and she had a decent talent for eavesdropping when she wanted to, but heaven forbid people found out and considered her nosy.
She reached the boiler, feeling the pipes as well as the tank. The long-haired guy, despite not appearing to be expert, had figured out the situation quite well. A smirk crossed her face as she began to focus, trying to select a spell strong enough to warm the boiler but weak enough not to make it too warm.
"Alright...hope you enjoy," she said to herself before performing the incantation. "Mulu-lizi...Freedom's Flame." The room's temperature began to rise, warming the boiler and pipes from all directions...
Warm the water...not boiling, just warm...keep it controlled...

"That's good, thank you! I'll be down when I'm done~!" Happy, MacPere dropped his towel and jumped into the shower, growling his pleased mood at the cascading water.

Stella ended the spell and took a couple deep breaths. The room was now uncomfortably warm, but it would cool down in an hour or two if she estimated it properly. She emerged from the basement, her face flushed from the heat, and beamed with pride.
"Heh...never thought my years of study would come to playing Ms. Fix-it," she commented, touching her head and noticing a pleasant side-effect of the spell; her hair was now dry and could be put up like she normally enjoyed it. She looked over at the bar. "Think I could get a glass of cold water...? Things got a bit toasty down there..."
