Hello to all ! I started watching Doctor Who about 2 years ago...and am now a certified Whovian biggrin ...wish i had a badge !
When i'm not watching The Doctor's adventures i usually read (Neil Gaiman and Douglas Adams ) and Daydream...although now that i think about it, my daydreams often involve a Tardis, and an occasional sonic screwdriver rolleyes . I am a proud nerd wahmbulance !
Happy to meet fellow Whovians exclaim

Hi. I started watching about 2 years ago, courtesy of my obsessed cousin 3nodding It was like love at first sight. With the show, I mean. When I watch an episode I just sit there glued to the screen the whole time, which is really weird for me because with other shows it's a miracle if I don't get so bored that I turn it off before it's even over. biggrin

Hello, everyone!

My name is Alli and I live in the southeastern US (YAY!....Not!). I got into the Doctor Who fandom via Torchwood during Summer 2008, but I ended up drifting out of it until a good friend of mine (as well as my parents) kept talking about it. It kinda just stuck. There was a BBC America marathon of the Tenth Doctor sometime in September of this year that I watched. Ever sense then, I've been hooked. I do remember seeing the iconic Doctor with the scarf as a child, but it's been too long to remember much about it.

My obsession has only grown over the past two months and it seems I'm totally obsessed with the Daleks. No, I do not know why, but I just am. XD

Anyway! Glad to be here and I can't wait to get to know some of my fellow fans! ^.^

Angel of the Doctor

PostPosted: Fri Nov 13, 2009 1:54 pm
Hi everyone!
I won't tell you my actual name. But I'll tell you what my username means.
As you all know, the Doctor has been working so hard on saving our planet for about the 200th time.
Also, I remember in Girl in the Fireplace, where Rinette was saying how the Doctor was "her angel."
Well, I think the Doctor needs a protector.
Yes, I'm very aware that the Doctor can take care of himself.
And he has the TARDIS.
But, unfortunately, he treats the TARDIS like crap.
He doesn't need someone to protect him physically, but emotionally.
He needs someone to bandage his spiritual wounds.

Anyways, I like watching old DW episodes on TV when I have the chance.
I'm from USA.
I haven't been able to see any old series episodes (besides some of 4, 1 of five, and the eight movie). But, I have read about them.
I really like DW because it does the things that people are too scared to do.
AOTD heart

Hello, I am Jason and I am an American. I am also a huge Doctor Who fan. I have been a fan for a couple years now but I must depend on the BBC to catch most of the episodes. However, I do own at least one episode from all the doctors.

{Have I not introduced myself? Huh. Guess not.

'ello, I'm DT. I've got a real name (most people do). If you do some research, it's not hard to find.
I live on the West coast of the United States.
I've been a Doctor Who fan for almost two years. Newcomer, yeah, but I'm obsessed. whee
In order (1-3), my three favorite Doctors are David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston, and Peter Davison.
I roleplay as the Tenth Doctor, Mickey Smith, and the ocassional additional characters. And I love talkin' DW and TW, so do send a message or a comment my way if you like cool

Hello. I remember watching reruns of Doctor Who as a child. I only remember the 4th and 5th Doctors, but not very well. I watched the 9th Doctor and liked it very much. Then when he died, I thought the 10th Doctor would be terrible. But I just watched several episodes and loved it.

On Gaia, I'm some future incarnation of the Doctor. I know he's supposed to be limited to 13, but I don't think that will be the case...

Since this seems to be the popular way to introduce yourself...

Hi, my name is Julia. I'm Canadian, and I've been actually aware of Doctor Who since April '09. Although I've seen it on television even before that... I guess you'd just say I wasn't actually paying attention.

Which is really unfortunate!

I've only really watched the "revival" of the show, so I can't say much to the original doctors, but David Tennant is one amazing doctor. You cannot deny that fact!

Etc.
