I'm a newer fan of THG's trilogy but it became one of my instant favourites while reading the first book. I've read all three.. a couple times now in the last month. Sadly, I have yet to buy them since I don't have money to do so. Having a friend who owns them can be really helpful. 3nodding

Hmm... what else? I'm from Ontario, Canada. I'm 22 (23 in October) Not sure what else to do, I'm sure my personality will come out more when I post.
Also, I am a fan of Peeta and Katniss being together... I don't like to do the whole "Team" thing as I associate it with Twilight... and that whole series is nothing compared to THG's or any other books really.. Stephanie Mayer is not very talented with writing and to call her a great writer is an insult to those who can write. Just saying. (My own personal opinion.. sorry if you don't agree)
I'm also a big Harry Potter Nerd. lol

Also, to everyone who has mentioned the movie/s (it has been confirmed they will be doing 4 movies for the trilogy and the main casting has already signed on for all 4... YES!) My mind was put at ease while reading the background of the movies, Susan Collin's herself wrote the screenplay for the first movie, and someone edited it a bit to make it more adaptable to the big screen. They have said that they added some things here and there, like showing what's going on outside the arena, to give viewers more perspective since the book is all 1st person narrative and in Katniss' POV. I'm beyond pumped for the movie this month biggrin

I am new to The Hunger Games series, but once I opened up my kindle to the first page of The Hunger Games I was hooked. I read through the entire series in three days. I can quite honestly say there are not many books that can catch my attention so intensely quick and have me keep it there the entire way through the series. I was not bored for one moment.

My name is thelittlemage and I am a massive fan of the hunger games. Counting down to the film. When I was only half way through reading book one it was already my favourite book next to the book thief (and believe me, I've read LOADS of books, and thats a very good place to be.) and I'm currently half way through Mockingjay... I am literally unable to put it down... Suzanne Collins is a brilliant author. I love how she hooks you at the end of every chapter, thinking you'll just finish the chapter and put the book down and the book is just so awesome... you can't. I love it. biggrin
