Combat Arena

[Sigilos]

The ice creaked as he flapped his wings. He grinned, his glowing eyes burning brighter.

*I am already frozen, little one. The cold will do nothing too me now.*

He swooped down, brushing past a few of the outer ice-fire stars. He landed on the arena floor, and the ground began to freeze. Ice spread from where he stood. Something wasn't right. He shrugged his wings and held one out in front of him. Some of his ice had melted!

*How? Ahh, I see. Your stars are not just ice, the hold fire as well. The cold will do nothing, but your fire will. Clever girl.*

A creaking and cracking was heard, and he began to chuckle.

*But I will still prevail. I have long used the elements, and long have they won battle after battle. Everything is made of the elements, little one. And so, everything is under my control, if I can but find the way to use it.*

As he spoke, his armor grew thicker. Now, it would take at a few hits from those ice-fire stars.

The gold's ice armor had touched her arm and had frozen it. Her arm was twice as heavy and was very hard to lift. A star flew and melted the ice on her arm. "Ah, you are a very tough opponent. It will be very hard to defeat you."
Shaydra caught two frozen fire stars and threw them high, shouting a spell so ancient and powerful that it rang in their ears. The stars flew up and gathered more energy, growing until both stars were almost three inches long and crackling with a bright blue surge of energy. Then they fell back down faster than normal and started to spin around Shaydra, making a star cocoon around her made of star trails.
The two stars kept on spinning around, making layer after layer until the cocoon was as big as Shaydra's ice-armored opponent.
Then the cocoon exploded, little stars bouncing off the gold's ice armor, doing no harm but making dents in it. Where Shaydra stood, a behemoth made of stars stood. It had the same dragon shape, but this was almost bigger than the male and had the same properties as the frozen fire.
You could see through it, though it was still solid, and where the heart was supposed to be, Shaydra floated, encased safely. Every movement she did, her shell mimicked. Her eyes were void black, and if you looked closely, you could see galaxies zooming by.
The star-dragon's maw opened, and Shaydra's voice, infinitely louder and more warrior-like, boomed out, "You may be a master of the elements, but the night and the stars are not of any one element, they are many yet none. Fire, ice, Nothing, earth, and much more. The power of the galaxies are strong." The star shell swiped its arm, melting off some of the gold's icy armplate.

((So i guess we're using magic against each other now, right?))  

[Sigilos]

(If want to use magic to attack, then go ahead. Just be warned, I've been using this for a long time. Don't under estimate me. wink )

*One might say it would be impossible to beat me. Don't worry, you have no need to concern your self with beating me, it won't happen!*

He began to grow, becoming his original size, then growing larger. He was huge.

*All things stem from the elements!*

He drew a whirl of flame around him, the shriek of his armor as he moved was grating against the ear. The spiral of fire became a small star, with an ice covered dragon in the center.

((Wouldn't that be god-modding if it was impossible to defeat you? And wouldn't your armor melt?))

Inside the star shell, Shaydra stepped back and hissed. The star dragon mimicked her, protecting her.
Shaydra muttered something else, and the star dragon started forming layers. If she grew as big as her opponent, the arena would be flattened, but only her star shell grew, until it was only a foot smaller. If the male destroyed the star shell, only one star layer would be ruined. She could always conjure another, but it would tire her.
Her voice boomed out, "You may be near impossible to defeat, but there is always someone stronger." The frozen fire crackled, and black holes started growing on the uppermost star layer. Voids of Nothing swirled within, and anything that the Nothing consumed would be changed into Nothing until magic brought it back. Nothing could also become any element.
Suddenly, a gushing of water was heard. The Nothing was transforming into water. The water lapped the fire a bit, and steam rose in the air.  

[Sigilos]

(OOC biggrin idn't say it was impossible, just near impossible. And the fire isn't touching the ice. Besides, it's magic, remember? If you can imagine it, and have the knowledge, you can do anything.)

The gravity from the black holes was crushing, threating to pull him in if he weakened for even a moment. He narrowed his eyes. This was getting dangerous, this female had alot of power. If they didn't end this soon, something could go terribly wrong.

*Even a black hole is something. Earth controls earth, air controls air. I summon the might of the winds of the galaxy, I summon the power of the worlds spread across it!*

As he spoke his short incantation, the gravity field shrunk around the black holes. Slowly, they began to emit things rather then absorb them. Bright white dwarf stars burst into life, as each black hole was reversed. At the same time, his ice armor melted, leaving only the fire around him.

*Let's finish this, little one. No need to get anyone hurt.*

((Would that mean rolling the dice? ))

Shaydra snorted, and the sound rolled around the stadium as her star shell magnified it. "You are very powerful," she said. She was begining to dislike the male and his seemingly impossible-to-defeat attacks. "Right. We should finish this, as I am tiring. I cannot say the same for you, though." The star layers disappeared, leaving only a tiny figure hunched upon the ground.
Suddenly, Shaydra shouted another spell and threw her pencil up high. It flew up until it dissapeared into the sky. She moved her paw as if the pencil was still in her hands and she was drawing something. Then she shook her paw twice, and the pencil flew back to her paws.
Suddenly, an immense roaring and pounding could be heard, and a tidal surge of water poured swiftly down after the pencil. The water collided with the gold's burning inferno swirling around him, and a great deal of steam clouded the arena. Her opponent was exposed.
The steam seemed to group around one area of the arena, and when the steam cleared, a gigantor Shaydra, as big as the gold himself, leapt at the male. She shouted something as she was airborne, and Shaydra became a speeding missle made of stars and Nothing.

His eyes widened, this female was so powerful! Her powers had to be as great as his, if she connected, he was done. He had been cocky, now he was gonna have to be fast to win. He roared, and lept at the speeding colossus. This was it, while he didn't show it, he was getting tired. Using the Elements the way he did was not physically taxing, but mentally it was drain. He only had a little energy left. One or two more big attacks was all he had.

With a feral roar, the silver and the gold collided, engulfing the whole stadium in a blast of light. When the light cleared a few minutes later, both of them were down, Shaydra's two front paws were on either side of the gold's head, both hind legs on the male's chest.
The magic had taken a powerful toll on both of them and the stadium. Her opponent was badly hurt. He had several star-burns and some of his limbs were soaked in Nothing, which could spread to his whole body. Those wounds were fatal but a little magic would fix that. The stadium also had voids of Nothing in various places. That would also be fixable.
But Shaydra was taken over by the magic. She was burned, but her raging black eyes showed no sign of pain. The overuse of magic and the lust of battle had turned her Feral. She snarled, and rolled off Sigilos. She was still very large, and a hard blow could kill. Her tail whipped back and forth like a tiger's, and she crouched down. The male was very weak, too weak to fight back...
But suddenly, the pain of a major battle overtook her, and she collapsed, gasping, her black eyes fading to her usual brown. She took out her pencil and disappeared into a lead cloud. The cloud dissapitated, and Shaydra stretched, again her normal size and shape. She said tiredly, "Do you want help healing?"

Neoxis was lying on top of the ledge surrounding the ring clapping and eating popcorn that appeared to be sitting on an invisible table. "wow that was spectacular" he said in his human form "i would like to get in a couple hits after everything that has happened here tonight. Oh and if you all would please i dont want to fight against sigilos for i would think he has a little too many back to back matches, but he would be a good opponent" then turning and speaking directly to Sigilos "i definately would like to fight you, but another time ok?" he then dropped to the arena getting ready for a fight "send in whoever you like"

Wincing, Shaydra summoned the Nothing covering Sigilos' limbs and relocated it to the stadium floor. Taking out her pencil, she erased the Nothing on the stadium walls and ground. Flipping her pencil over, she drew the stadium back.
Looking at the rest of the gold's wounds, she said tiredly, "I'm afraid you'll have to heal those burns yourself, as I might accidently do something wrong. Now, if it is alright with you, I shall fight this dragon who pretends he is a human, as it seems he does not want to fight you." Turning to the soon-to-be opponent, Shaydra said, "Just give me a moment, my last battle has taken quite a toll on me." She drew a lead cloud around herself, dissapearing into it. The cloud covered Shaydra for a few long minutes, then it cleared, and Shaydra stretched. "Much better," she said, snorting a few smoke clouds out. "I am still tired, though, so let us wait for Sigilos to heal himself."

((Neoxis, don't start fighting yet, wait for Sigilos to post and heal. Turn into a dragon or summon a weapon first.))

Neoxis leaned against the wall he had just jumped down from and closed his eyes. "Some people call me the dragon mimic, some even go so far as to call me the Wind Guru, But you all can just call me Neoxis"  

[Sigilos]

The gold got up, his form still huge. Blood poured from his wounds, but he grinned anyway. He had stopped the pain a moment ago.

*That was amazing! You truly are a powerful foe, Milady!*

Still bleeding, he gave a small bow, something he did not do often, or lightly. This female had earned a lot of his respect. As soon as he was done bowing, he dropped to all fours, and began to concentrate on his wounds. He Shifted them closed, healing the most dangerous first. It didn't take long before he was done, a few fading scars remaining. They would be gone soon as well. He looked around at the arena, they had really caused a mess. His Earth golems were working at repairing the damage already. He Shifted to his Halfblood form, and walked over to retrieve his blade. Tugging it free, he walked across to the other side, pulling Shaydra's blade free as well. He walked over to her, and held out her blade, hilt first.

*Your blade, Milady.*

Shaydra inclined her head. "Thank you, sir. Fighting against you is an honor." She laughed. "No one has ever called me 'Milady', either."
Taking the blade, she erased the blood on it with her pencil. Drawing a whetstone, she sharpened it until the blade was scale-piercing sharp. Nodding her head, Shaydra said, "And if you could be so kind as to step out of the arena, sir, and let me fight this new dragon."
Calling out to the other dragon, she shouted, "Would you rather exchange blades, Neoxis, or a fight of magic or talons?"
