I would love to go to a convention. But alas, they don't hold any round here anymore. It's not the cool thing to do. stare

I did once go to a Star Trek convention and get to sit in Captain Kirks chair from the Original starship Enterprise.

You really ought to get in on that whole moving to North America thing. We have loads of conventions up here.

Well, I'm making some leeway in paying off my debts now. But I'm still looking at a couple years before I could afford to move out there. Plus I still can't seem to find a way to get a visa.

It'd likely be easier for us to move out your way than vice versa.

Yeah, we have nothing like visas to get in the country, all you got to do to get here is buy a ticket.

What about WORK in your country? Then what?

You don't need a job to get here. Plus you don't need a job when you get here. Most people that move over here go straight down the unemployment office and start claiming benefits.

Job prospects at the moment are not brilliant, but if you want to work, as long as you've got some qualifications you'd be alright.

Not that I've any intention of moving out of the country right now. I'll settle for moving out of my parents house.

I wouldn't recommend moving to the UK any time soon anyway. The country is in serious need of repair and no one seems to want to do it.

True. But I think the UKs been going down the shitter for a few years now. We need a decent government.

We're looking at having ANOTHER election. Which is something we can't afford right now, like at all.
