so for the past week, this same persona has been reappearing in all my dreams, and its kinda freaking me out a little. He is in all black, kinda like a ninja, and shows up with his left eye white, with the iris still visible, but white. and every time he appears, i hear this sort of double click noise. next thing i know, its like he is controlling and messing with my mind, making different things happen every night. sad

zeth-sama so for the past week, this same persona has been reappearing in all my dreams, and its kinda freaking me out a little. He is in all black, kinda like a ninja, and shows up with his left eye white, with the iris still visible, but white. and every time he appears, i hear this sort of double click noise. next thing i know, its like he is controlling and messing with my mind, making different things happen every night. sad You mean in a dream in real life?

Question is, what sort of emotion is the main influence in the dreams? idk, my dreams are always changing, to tell you the truth. but when he appears, i usally pass by him, and once i see the eye, it usually happens. its not like its trying to hurt me, from what i remember that is. now that i think about it tho, its been kinda happening since ive been sick, but idk. could just be from rping too lol

I'm also sure that alot more than that happened, since you only remember about 10% of a dream anywhere after 10 miniutes of waking up, so while it doesn't make sense to you now, during the dream it probably did make more sense. either way, dont let it bother you. I dont usually have dream problems, since i'm a lucid dreamer. (Meaning i have control over pretty much everything that happens within my dreams) Not that it's hard to be a lucid dreamer. I wasn't always one, just figured out how to do it.

But, you never know about the dream. Just drink a good cup of tea is what I would prefer.

Get into the habit of doing reality checks (Flick a light switch, count fingers on hand, read some words, etc), This will get your mind used to it so you might remember to do said check when dreaming. (While you Can use mirrors to reality check, best not to, cause you might not like what your unconcious sees you as) Keeping a dream journal helps (Basically, as you wake up, (As in within the first 5 minuites of waking up, dont move, just try to recall the dream. Once you've recalled enough of said dream, write it down somewhere. This is help. That link i posted ealier is a Binaural Beat. more precisely its a Theta binarural beat, which is the same frequency that the human mind dreams out, so it helps induce a lucid dream. IF you manage to get into a lucid dream, rubbing your hands together helps prolong it. Apart from that, Have fun. It's not an instantanous thing, and in the first week of trying to lucid dream i had a few 'false awakenings'. Which is a shitty experiance. (Its when you wake up, but you are still dreaming, and that waking up is part of the dream, it can remove you from a lucid dream, and in most cases cause you to continue with your daily routine, only to then wake up in reality)

That's the one fear I have , not being able to know whether I'm dreaming or not. But I think it would be interesting to see how my mind see's myself as. I'll probably give it a try.
