Kageko kept her composure and smiled apologetically, "Sorry Remy, but it's not my greenhouse. It's my friends and she's not really fond of showing it people she doesn't know. As for nectar, it's what Angeles drinks if I remember correctly." When Sosol pulled out of the bottle of blood, Kageko quickly averted her eyes.

Licking his upper lip, he frowned slightly. "Okay...guess I'll visit a different one sometime..." He blinked worriedly at her aversion. "Are you okay?"
"Finish your cup, Remy..."
"Uh? Oh, d'you...does blood bother you? I'm sorry!" he drank the rest quickly, and hid the stained glass. "Sorry..." he said, blushingly embarrassed.

Azana hadn't taken a drink of the blend from Sosol in a while, watching the happenings in the bar with both curiosity and amusement. Still, her drowsiness began to creep up on her again, and her head began to settle on her folded arms, still watching with half-closed eyes.
Sosol noted Kageko's reaction to the sight of the red liquid and quickly put it away, not wanting to make the girl uncomfortable. "Sorry...I didn't realize you were a bit squeamish," he said sympathetically. "What can I do to make up for it...?"

"Heh, don't worry," Kageko assured turning back around as she heard the bottle and cup clattering away, "it's okay. I just get a bit fidgety whenever I see blood. Don't know why, though. I'm okay with being surrounded by blood... as long as I don't see it, that is." Standing up and stretching, Kageko announced, "I think I'll go out for a bit, so just keep on drinking your blood," and with that, she left.

"B-b-buh but...I only needed one, and..." his voice trailed off anxiously as she left, and he sighed despondently. "Man...did I mess up?"
"No, you're fine...you've got red on you." He grinned, turning to Azana. "So what was that Sol was talking about earlier, with a chip on your shoulder..?"

Azana blinked a couple times, shaken out of her drowsiness by Gren's question. "Huhwha? Oh, that's nothing," she replied, a grin on her face.
Sosol coughed. "Bullcrap," he muttered under his breath with a smirk.
Azana glared over at Sosol but took a breath and calmed down. "Alright, alright...I have stage fright. There, happy?"
"Completely," he replied, smiling lovingly. "After all, no one can help if you don't admit the problem..."

"Stage fright, huh? Understandable..." he smiled gently. "But this is probably the best place to get past it; I can't think of a more forgiving audience. Besides, you sounded great yesterday." He sipped his drink, as Remy grumblingly wiped at his collar.

"I sou-I...how? I checked, double checked!" She was in a mild panic, her cheeks quickly darkening in hue.
"Told you," Sosol taunted with a smirk. "Not all that applause was for me..." He was, of course, referring to Valentine's Day, when he little secret talent was displayed to the public.
"I hate you both so much right now," she grumbled, burying her head in her arms. Of course, that wasn't true, but she was embarrassed enough to say as much. They had actually heard her...if they could...
Oh...now the whole Inn has...ugh...

"I was upstairs, Eli at the bar..." Gren shrugged mildly. "Nobody else I know of was around, though." He grinned sheepishly at her insistence of hate and took another sip.
"But...you look like you could sing..." piped Remy, returning from rinsing his collar.

Azana peeked up from her arms, her hat having fallen off a moment ago. "...just you two...?" She picked up her head, somewhat relieved that she hadn't just unknowingly had a large audience. Remy's comment even got a small giggle out of her.
"There's a long distance between 'could' and 'should' when it comes to singing...go to any karaoke night and you will see it in action," she replied.
"You should sing," Sosol said, making his way over from the bar. "You could use more avenues for self-expression than practice and witty retorts...and I like your voice."
Azana blushed again. "Yours is better..."
"That shouldn't discount yours...Stella's magic is better than yours. Does that stop you?"
"Hell no! Oh...okay, I see your point...but I freeze if I have people watching me..."

Azana chuckled at both of the good-natured, but completely ridiculous, suggestions. "I'm not going to make you guys do that," she replied, shaking her head with a smile. At the request, however, she blushed slightly, looking away with a sheepish gaze. Someone actually wanted her to sing...someone besides Sosol (who was her boyfriend and so always wanted to hear her). As she looked over at the microphone and the stereo, Sosol was already floating the CD into the drawer with an encouraging nod of his head. "Fine! I'm obviously outvoted here," she pulled her hat from the table and threw it back on her head, making sure her nervous eyes were obscured in its shadow. "It's by Sheryl Crow...called 'I Know Why'..." The music began again with the guitar, and soon her voice joined in, a little shaky... They say love keeps on growing

Gren placed his cheek onto a fist, leaning on his elbow and listening carefully. The shake was just shyness, the voice had a good foundation...Very nice. He sipped his drink, smiling.
Remy turned in his bar seat to face the stage, intrigued.

As the chorus came in, one of Azana's hands released the microphone, slowing falling to her side as she began to forget everything...she wasn't on stage, people weren't watching...

Sosol rested his head on his hands, looking up at her dreamily. A few years ago, he never thought he would have been doing something like this...his mind, his boundaries, had been so small.
