Lady Lizabee So, I'm reading the Hunger Games, and this book is awful! Not Awful in the sense that it's bad story telling, because it's amazing! But it's awful because it introduces characters you grow to love, and lets you know off the bat that only 1 can live! All you can do is read further, fall further in love with them, and wait for that horrible moment...It's gonna be even worse for me, cause so far my favourite character is Rue...12 years old and in the games....so sad. She's such a sweet child T-T DAMN YOU SUZANNE COLLINS!  I was conned into reading the book and finding that it had a terrible romance plot. Wasn't brutal enough.
Also the movie was...sorta lame. Cato was made out to be some sword wielding badass in the book. If he fought like he did in the movie, I could've probably won the games as long as I got my hands on a sword.
Also the only true badass I can think of in that series is Thresh. You'll see soon.

Poorly. no! Peeta has to die! Katniss and Gale I can see...cause they have more history that "here's some bread" i'm gonna pick up the others later

The district 1 guy is a pushover. I could take him.
Thresh was better. Rue could've been sneaking in the brush and cutting throats, but she just sat in trees and whistled all damn day.

TheyFoundTheBodies i always felt like the Hunger Games was the new Twilight. emotion_8c what? a popular book turned movie? nah...this is actual good story telling....Twilight was an over used love cliche, bad writing, bad grammar, and horribly masked political undertones about abortion, premarital sex, and unwed childbirth... While teens killing teens isnt a terribly new idea, ie lord of the flies, it's a lot better than twilight can even dream to become. @Shane Did they give any of her inner dialogues in the movie? In the book, you get a better look at who she really is and the s**t going in her mind...while she stil remains an iffy character, i've heard she's a lot better than movie Katniss @Fire psh, i'd like to see you try...that mother ******** was a Career... Rue could put a sling stone between your eyes before you even knew about it.
