Though, I'd thought I'd point out that the idea of limiting it seems rather redundant. You know, instead of making it a Kage only move for example (it'd make those Kage meetings easier) it's still able to be learned by any chuunin that wants to. Well so long as that planetary hopping chuunin is an uzumaki then it's quite alright by what you just said.

So yeah, this is one instance where canon makes much more sense. Takes three ninja (Jounins I think) to use it, and then they're retardedly exhausted afterwards. Sounds like Kage or SS-Rank is it now? But as you so elegantly pointed out we ******** the manga and just limit the planet hopping from the whole guild to just a select trendy few. Oh yes, that makes so much sense.

Hey bro, quote me again when you have the experience to know what your talking about cause sorry im tired of listing to "oh the manga does it so we should do it." Tell me how that perfect susanno works out for you. As well as the problem was everyone in the guild INCLUDING chunin were using Flying thunder god, not because chunin were using it. Now to learn it you have to give up a bloodline slot to be Uzumaki to learn it. Because yeah it just that damn powerful, like edo tensei. Or was their no problem with everyone knowing that ether?

I never had a beef with Edo Tensei, mainly cause I wasn't and still aren't dead. But it doesn't seem like banning it did much good since skelerobotanks are still coming back from the dead.

Lol, yes I know everyone in the guild used it. Yes, I also know per your first very well said reply that it wasn't just the chuunin. It's a bloody damn good way to get around. What I don't understand, and it could just be the fact that I fail to grasp your ever magnificent logic, is what does a clan of sealers have to do with teleportation? Better yet, why them and not the Akimichi? Lord knows they need a self esteem boost, always getting the fat end of the stick. Or what about any of the not trendy clans and/or bloodlines? What about making it a move only Kages can know? Like a perk of the position or some other such thing. Or even what of just banning it altogether?

I made a comparison between the guild and the manga. Big deal. Why does everyone get all butthurt when someone does that? I don't get it. We have a guild renaissance going on where we're actually TRYING to be like the source material. Then I go and say "but the uzumaki's should share cos it wasn't there's to begin with" and suddenly I don't know what I'm talking about. Sure, I joined up when it was still banned. No, I haven't been here for like the last I don't know ten years this place has been around so I don't know the guilds history. Answer the stupid question with either a stupid or simple answer. Easy, no reason to get all in a tizzy over like the most ridiculous minute comparison to canon.

For the record, good job NUR for doing your own thing, canon be damned. If we want vampires we're going to have some bloody vampires! Keep at it beastie, your the best.

Besides, who get's thunder god is really damn irrelevant to what the original point of that post was. I mean, picking out like the last mostly insignificant part about and then professing how much you love to ******** the manga. Youre just full of champion material arent'cha?

LOL I actually lived in the era of the WTF teleporting chunnin...

And at least when I used Edo Tensei ... you needed to capture bodies to use it.

EVERYONE just forgot its use is not to REVIVE RPCS... but to create RPC slaves with them... if you banned that you might as well ban my human puppetry.

I commonly reference the manga though I avoid it around people and keep it to myself.


All I know this guild has flaws and well each revision... from DT's time, I lived in that chaotic time where we just had random guesses to what our chakra limits, speed, strength, stamina and amount of jutsus were....

To Raijin's time when Rinnegan first made the scene and I started to claw puppetry into a significant force. Though to be honest the chakra system then was still broken. Proper distribution of bloodlines and clans were in the works.

The ousted captain... (No recollection of what happened there)

Eris/Marquis's time... a bit more fixed with the chakra system, actually the era of most changes that actually broke what it fixed every now and then. I mean introduce a new jutsu (flying thunder god) and s**t hits the fan faster than the mentioned jutsu. Kaguyas (Fenrir) were oddly too powerful. IT was the peak of activity but also the peak of WTF I mean... BB here was making forests with a snap, I was prancing around half invunerable, some people could control lightning and etc.... there was also the weirdo who kept god-modding... forgot his name


BASICALLY BB and I have seen the guild at its weirdest to what it is now. Right now the chakra system is at its most stable, even back then Taijutsu used no chakra and we guessed the stamina amount. We have a fairly workable Speed/Strength system... I still have minor beefs with fixing up the numbers but its fairly ok now.


We have a few cannon things but think of NUR as a parallel universe. We can look at the manga but never really copy it. So basically the manga states that CHAKRA = Stamina + Spiritual energy. Which perfectly explains why people are exhausted when they use up too many jutsus,... however we have no proper system for stamina unless we can put chakra costs on taijutsu.

Squish: I get what you mean by being parallel and all that wishwash. But think about it for a moment mate. Say I'm a tai guy, who for arguments sake is either sannin or kage. My first tai style is free of all chakra costs, so I can use the secret/special techniques of that style for zero chakra all the way up too S-Rank. Repeatedly. So long as the move doesn't say that my arm gets broke or some other crap, s ranked moves are able to be spammed with impunity.

This balanced out the ninjutsu class who could effectively do and was doing the same. Alot.

What I'm saying we might want to do is add chakra cost to the techniques that come with these styles. While they don't necessary have to be the same as ninjutsu numbers I'd recomend it for simplicity sake. Let the tai user have his punches, kicks, and other physical things free. But the moment they punch someone with a fistfull of raiton, it should use chakra. That or if they do some other craziness like a flaming tornado. Weapon styles fall into this line of reasoning as well.

Your call guys, I have a heavy bias as I work my way AROUND the chakra cost no matter what. I am a strategist... I avoid measly fighting when I can but take out my targets with poison BEFORE battle or get others to do it...That and I did put that "We put a cost on taijutsu" at the very end.

I've been around the neverending taijutsu freaks. Fenrir, gah, it was a nigh endless battle with him as he was a very Taijutsu heavy character. Though he had the courtesy as to not spam his attacks. I know what you all mean and I beat a FTG user, granted this user was a chunnin. They still had to throw the kunai to magic teleport... all i did was attack the kunai as soon as it landed...idiot chunnin...


There are other things that can be spammed with impunity, you just need imagination to do it and trust me NUR members have good imagination I'm betting you can think of one right now. Be thankful there are good exploiters like me, I mean I always point it out when I do find it, be weary of those who won't point it out for their own benefit. Mind you I'm always on a look out for an exploit or two.

I dunno, what if instead of charging so much chakra per post of any style stacked on to the first just charged them chakra for the techniques instead. It would (kind of) make up for taking away the first style free bonus by making all styles half free.

Just my thoughts/ideas.

You know Squish, for being such a strategist it would be interesting to actually see you fight someone. I'd wager it'd be like a game of epic chess.

I don't like to fight... not that I don't like to get my hands dirty, it is because as of now the changes to the styles render my old fighting habits... nonviable which is a good way to nerf things as before I was practically invulnerable I commend the changes made.

No right now I'd sit and watch as my RPC is heavily outdated to fight newer characters. Not saying I'll lose right away I can put up a mean fight and if you do screw up I will exploit it... I will enter battle... soon...

I have a plan. Knowledge is power, thats why my rpc watched EACH kage except for grass's... I don't like meta-gaming so ... zeramaru/zeo's observations were made in RP

Yeah, pretty much. It was the first thing I noticed that could be easily exploitable now that we've nerfed ninjutsu costs.
