I don't see why we'd take away one of the styles having no cost. I thought it was pretty obvious that using techniques in a style still costs chakra...XD

The advantage of Taijutsu users is that the passive benefits of their first style are free. I dunno who told you to take that out, but I honestly think it's a mistake.

We're trying to cut down on S-rank spamming, so we slashed the ninjutsu class. Doing that opens up the guild to taijutsu abusing domination, because like I told Wings the language in the master rules is very murky. There's no mention of chakra costs anywhere for techniques, just a cost per post.

I brought this up after seeing a couple taijutsu users doing insanely costly things like it was nothing. As for who approved it:

Are we talking about the "1 style is free for taijutsu/weapon users" rule? That was before the nerfs to styles and pretty much everything else, but it's easily changeable, now. I'd not mind removing that.

I'm talking to Shane on skype at the moment, and he said that he wouldn't mind it. Saying that he wouldn't mind is very different from saying, "Yes, let's do it." It hasn't been made a concrete decision.

And elaborate on what you did to the Ninjutsu class? Slashed?

I didn't do anything to the ninjutsu class, you did lol.

I know he didn't approve anything, thats why one of my posts above was me asking permission. Lol, I woudn't presume to just changing crap without at least sime kind of go ahead beforehand.

As for 'slashing' the Ninjutsu class, this actually helps them. The +10% is more effective.

Oh, don't get me wrong mate I completely support the move to limit the ninjutsu class. It was getting a tad out of hand methinks.

Both of my rpcs are ninjutsu class. The only annoying thing about fighting with them is that nothing you use ever seems to hit anything. Ever. It was annoying, which is ehy I was glad for the redefining of power behind the ninjutsu ranks.

Though I have noticed an abundance of puppet and assassin classes lately.

u need to 'lead' your opponent into your ninjutsu, Watch the pattern of their dodges and plan to hit them where they are likely to dodge to. Earth element jutsu is great in this respect, since u can litterally shift the earth and box them in.

EDIT: and thats cause of human puppet and assassins creed.

Doton is one element that I never seem to use. Even in the multitude of other guilds I've rped in I barely use it. No idea why that is either, since I don't dislike Earth Release.

I've given up trying to lead targets. I understand the theory, it's the same as wwII aircraft combat. But it's my luck that they either just ignore what should have hit them, or I get called for autoing when I point out it's inescapable.

Which is weird, because rarely do I fight to kill. Rather I just like being able to say I beat somrone. -shrug-

i used to fight to kill, but then that got boring, since people complained and all that shizzle. So now i just go for maiming. that way they get to continue in life, and get to rp a new experience by not having an arm or a leg.
