xD Haha, I applied to get into a literate roleplay thing once, but once I did I ran away because it was literally 1000+ words every post! It was way too much for me.

@Rain: I like your roleplaying style. But you know, we probably all hate our own just because it's ours.

Oh, haha, the guild idea. Fighting terrifies me.

Sorry 'bout the delay. Sushi run, got hungry lol. The mechanics of how the guild interfaces is the biggest hurdle with that idea. There'd only be the Great nations and no villages. With everything being done in-clan instead I've got to think of a way for clansmembers to advance.

The other is how to avoid the Fire Country having all the clans, even if they're bashing each others heads in.

@Lenon: Oh I agree. I used to have that problem. I still do sometimes. I have to commit to the story or else my writing or even the quantity is SO blah. If it's really intriguing to me, then I have no problem. Just get really into it. XD Do you write listening to music? Music helps me a lot. And sometimes I try imagining things in my head then I put it into writing. >.> I just realized how much time I spend roleplaying and thinking about it on and off Gaia... I have no life D:

I tend to create a psuedo anime in my head about what I plan to do in rp as a way to visualize what my rpc would be doing. I even do this when not on Gaia, such as while walking somewhere. I even had a dream where It was the perfect response to the situation my rpc was stuck in.

In a literate guild my rping was classed as 3 stars average.

As for the guild idea. You could just have it based on a combination of out of rp age of the rpc and the general skill of the shinobi (since clan warfare is about survival it'd be something like [ (age in days x (number of clan battles survived / 100] the have the resulting number be compared to a chart. )

Well, maybe limit it to X amount of clans in a particular country? You could call it 'food production limit' and instead of making it so that they can't exceed it, make it instead so that if there's too many people in a particular country that they start to starve and therefore spark a war over territory for land and crops and whatnot.

And, since it's clan-based it'd probably be more on how many battles you win than how many tests you can pass. So maybe you need to defeat X amount of opponents in sparing or in battle to advance in rank? That could be open to abuse though, so I'd think about something else or put further prerequisites like having to have the crew approve of the rank increase.

I like the idea of having to win battles in order to advance in rank. As for how many clans per country, I wouldn't be opposed to having some clans from Fire going to the other lands.

Custom clans would be a different story. I'm not opposed to this either just have to keep a weather eye out for anything overly retarded.

I dunno, I think arc's would be redundant. Mainly because the object is peace negotiations, treachery and just general warfare really. Villages might come along at some point, but that's really only if a country is solidly unified either through force or treaty.
