Remy turned to the voice, nodding. "Okay! Just a minute." he set down his easel and went into the kitchen, starting hot water.

Sosol jumped up from his seat and headed back toward the kitchen, grabbing a mug along the way. "One coffee, on its way!" He called to Knightsoul as he vanished through the doorway.
"Whoa, Remy!" Azana exclaimed in surprise, a broad smile crossing her face. "Where did you come up with those?" She quickly shoved the battery back in her pocket sheepishly, hoping no one would ask about her little habit. The last thing she needed was to become a recharge service...

Tossed from the kitchen by Sosol, Remy smiled. "Miss Angeles took me to a cave, where these were hidden. She said the girl who owned them wouldn't mind if I took them, so..."

Erik walked into the main room, possibly more tired than he'd been before. "Ah man, feels like I just got hit with a hammer..." He said, rubbing his own forehead. In truth, he'd been knocked out for a while. "How's everything been?" He asked.

"Likewise," Azana replied with a nod, listening to Remy's explanation. "Well, hand-me-downs are better than nothing. As long as they still work...they should give you something to do. Who knows? You might be able to sell the works..."
She cast a sideways glance at Knightsoul, noticing a significant amount of fatigue and anxiety in his energy. "...you okay there? You're looking more burdened than Atlas..."

"Hey, it's not that bad." He protested. "And by my guess, I'm pretty sure I got knocked out, by what I'm not sure, in fact, I don't remember much of anything that happened up to today at least." He said. He was still pretty sure somebody got him with an actual hammer.

"I went to see Edmund. He was...cryptic. If he knows anything, he's not saying yet. I wish I could talk to Gino, see if he knows anything, but nobody's seen hide nor hair of the young Gambino since Christmas."
He propped his feet up on the table and pulled out his harmonica. The music not only soothed him, it helped him focus his thoughts. Perhaps it would help him make a connection that he overlooked. "I will figure out who killed Johnny K. Gambino. I just hope I do it soon."

Remy nodded. "I hope so, Knight...he was a nice man...and I hope Gino's okay too! but Edmund being cryptic is understandable; he just lost his best friend. I can't say I blame him."
During this, he was setting up the easel, and finding a canvas that didn't look too beat up.

"Sake?" Sosol said in mild disbelief. "Wow, you don't fool around..." He pushed aside a few bottles of this, that, and the other thing, finally pulling out a bottle of sake from the depths. "You want that hot or cold? The sake, not the water..."
"You're investigating the Gambino assassination," she said, her affect somewhat flat. There had been a time or two when she was tempted to do the deed herself...but the GMO labeled him an important person to the community. In her opinion, they were just hoping for more research on the G-virus...it seemed odd, though, that not long after their lockdown...they'd strike. Then again, it could have simply been opportunism.
"My money's on Von Helson vampires...there's still a few believers in the crowd," she said with mild dismissal for the case. "Either way, what's done is done...they should be trying to find Gino before the assassin does. After all, if they decide to be against the entire Gambino family, he'll be next..."
