there was a lot of cool stuff in that press briefing, but there are still sony fanboys bitching all across the web despite the fact that Microsoft remedied everything they bitched about

plz butthurt moar, sony fanboys.

it's funny because I'm a sony fan and will probably be buying a PS4 when the next gens come out, but I still feel the need to defend Microsoft just because I hate and despise the rumor-based, presumptive attitude of the internet hipsters. They all act like they're geniuses but they're about as intelligent and well-informed as my toothbrush.

@Wings: I'm excited! I have an XBOX360 and PS3 (don't use the XBOX anymore though -- no hard drive space left l0l) and I will probably get back into it to try out World of Tanks. It's gonna be free-to-play and errythang.

I'm just going to switch to a gaming PC. I wanted a game console, not a DVR. PS4 has nothing I want, and the Xbox One doesn't have enough of what I want to justify paying for it and using all their s**t features I don't care about.

Dragon Age is the only redeeming thing so far.
Everything else has been ridiculously over-aggrandized.

Why would I spend that much for a games console when I have an alienware?


The few things I liked the look of at E3 was the new MGS. (I played the last one and was disappointed.) Dead Rising 3 (Who doesn't like a zombie killing game?) and the new Dragon Age (Best series ever!)

Shame they didn't show much of Battlefront, but it should be good since it's being done by DICE.

As for the world of tanks linking with your account. I highly doubt it. I'm still waiting for the 360 minecraft to link so I can use my skin. neutral

why would you play minecraft on the xbox? you cant mod it, it's still using the 1.2.5 build, and one of the main selling points of the game, in that a single world can reach a size equiverlent to walking around the earth 8 times is replaced by around 900 by 900.

Although the only point i care about really in the above is the lack of mods

They can also be given to/shared with your friends, although I think it's fairly limited. PS3 is highly speculated to also do this with used games. 2, I have s**t internet connection that sometimes goes off for days. That makes sense. However, there are multiple different sources saying different things. It might not require you to connect every 24 hours; we're not 100% sure. Either way, I don't think it's a huge dilemma for like 99% of the first world. We all use the internet. You caveman! 3, I don't want a Kinect that I can't turn off You can easily turn it off... this rumor was debunked multiple times and 4, WHY? Why would I spend that much for a games console when I have an alienware? You shouldn't. Anyone with a pro gaming PC shouldn't even bother with consoles, unless there are tons of good exclusives.

Let's get some original titles coming out. If games have a number of 4 or more at the end of their titles, they tend to be lacking.

MFW Elder Scrolls V was better than 1-4, and Elder Scrolls VI will probably be god tier
Final Fantasy also.
And there's a ton of other franchises, like the Legend of Zelda, that are still strong as hell.

Mass Effect can be like that too.

I'm upset that only 2 WRPGs have been showcased (Dragon Age and Witcher 3), whereas 4 racing games have been shown and 2 others (Gran Turismo and Driveclub) are highly assumed to show on Sony's panel.

This is ridiculous. Why do we need 6 racing games? They're all like, the same thing except with teeny variations. -_-

EDIT EDIT: Okay, so Beyond Two Souls felt the need to go obligatory military route. They should call it Beyond the Splinter Cell: CoD ops.

I'm sure the game will be great, but that doesn't fit Jody at all, lol. At least the way we've seen her. And Heavy Rain was good because it was real and based in our own society... this is just...

EDIT: Nevermind, it just killed Microsoft.

Anyway, they revealed Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV (Final Fantasy Versus 13). So, yay. Sadly, XV seems to be for the PS4, and Kingdom Hearts 3 has PS2 graphics pretty much...
I want XV to be for the PS3! I'm too broke for a next-gen! gonk

EDIT: It killed microsoft again. $100 cheaper.

First of all, Dragon Age 3 reveal -- AMAZING if you're as big of a fan as me. Star Wars Battlefront reveal: AMAZING.

Witcher 3: AMAZING. Final Fantasy 15: Amazing... but only if it's also coming out for the PS3
I'm too broke to buy this next gen s**t. Give me FF15 on the PS3 like was promised in 2006.
