Sosol chuckled lightly, sending a bottle of water her way. "Not everything I serve is alcoholic," he commented, "and you'll have trouble lecturing without something to drink."

"Elemental classes, huh? Cool! Have fun with that!" She said with a smile. It was nice to hear that younger people were getting proper training in Talents, both within and outside of the GMO. She remembered some of her earlier missions, before such programs were widespread...having to disarm and help people unable to cope with their emerging abilities was never a fun job.

Hm...maybe I can go back to school sometime...

Azana arrived at the Inn, having come from the local police station. They were a bit annoyed with her having kept the files longer than she said she would, and for some strange reason, they wouldn't believe her attendance at a charity ball as an excuse. With a laugh and a shake of her head, she looked around the relatively deserted main room.

"Hm. Sosol must be in back," she said to herself, grabbing a can of soda and sitting at a table, thinking about life. Her mind quickly gravitated to the files and the case, remembering Gren's words of advice.

Maybe they're over-thinking...that would make sense for those guys. Let's see...we know it's a guy, or a very masculine woman. My money's on it being a guy. He doesn't have supernatural Talent, or he would have used it...but how isn't he leaving more evidence?

Sosol pushed open the door of the Inn, carrying more bags than any person should, with a couple extras hovering nearby. He waddled back toward the kitchen to unload them, giving a loving smile to Azana, who had apparently fallen asleep at the table earlier that day.

I could use the help...eh, if she wakes up, I guess. He continued back through the doorway and into the kitchen. Hopefully it wouldn't be too active that night.

Azana opened her eyes slowly, blinking a few times as she lifted her head drowsily, looking around the main floor. A suitcase by the stairs, and sounds in the kitchen...she had missed a bit, obviously. She stood up with a stretch, heading into the kitchen to help out Sol.

Azana and Sosol emerged from the kitchen, having put away enough groceries to last a week or two. Azana's eyes lit up as she noticed Gren finally out of his room, and she greeted him with an enthusiastic wave.

"Hey! You're feeling better...?" She asked, rushing over to meet him.
"If he's not, I could whip up some soup or maybe a smoothie..." Sosol added, giving his own wave. "Good to see you among the living again."

"Well, yeah..." Azana replied, "but it's been really boring around here lately. About the only excitement in the past couple of days was that ball!"
"In other words, your absence was noticed and you were missed," Sosol translated with a shake of his head. "Well, yours and Eli's...she's been wanting to tell him about the ball for the past two days."
"It was interesting, and I thought he'd like to know," she retorted, her arms crossed. "Anyway, I sometimes get sick in the spring...doesn't happen until just after Easter, though..."

"It was a really interesting night," Azana started, a beaming smile on her face at finally being able to talk about it with someone who wasn't actually there with her. "A lot that I had to adapt to, though...I'm not used to a lot of the rules of these things."

"We had to introduce ourselves to just about everyone...it got really old after a while," Sosol slid behind the bar, making up a drink for Azana while pouring out some orange juice for the still-recovering Gren.

"No kidding! You'd think word would get around...but no. Every couple, every time...name, rank, and serial number," she rolled her eyes, repeating her introduction in a mocking voice.

"It's apparently different if you're a well-known's 'plus one'...since we weren't obviously attached to any of the usual suspects, I guess they had to make sure we had credentials or something," she replied, though the next question made her smile broaden.

"After that is when we had fun...dancing a lot, and not just with each other, either!" She answered enthusiastically.

Sosol brought over the beverages, sitting down. "Well...mostly fun," he said with a sigh. "One lady decided to pull off my shades..."
