*he looks at the new commer and nods* "welcom to my tavern..what can i do for you." *he opens his wings to give her a place to hide while he walked back to the bar and the doorway to his room where he knew she would be safe.*

Dmitri walked forward, following the Dragon. He was amazed. he had never seen a Dragon before. He wandered forward and caught the Vampire scent he had smelled earlier. Now it smelled familiar. "Phoenix?!"
Phoenix watched in amazement as Dmitri, her oldest friend walked into the tavern. When he said her name, Phoenix jumped forward and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Dmitri! You're alive! I thought Damien killed you years ago!" He lifted her off her feet and laughted.

*he folds his wings and lets the two of them be for now. tell thay are ready to talk to him he will continue protecting phoenix and if need be would protect her friend as well.*

Dmitri watch the Dragon over his oldest friends shoulder with cautious eyes. She seemed to trust him, but she had also made trusting mistakes in the past with Damien. He waited for Phoenix to dislodge herself from him to tell his story. When she did, she looked expectingly at him. "It's true." He spoke quietly. "Damien almost did kill me. He attacked from behind, like any coward. I barely escaped with my head or heart. I have been looking for you for all these years. When I finally gave up hope, I found you! I have missed you so much."
Phoenix listened to Dmitri's story, knowing he trust her new Dragon friend. It would take time. She would be patient as they both learned to trust each other. She smiled and hugged Dmitri again, proving to the Dragon that she trusted him.

*he smilse at dmitri* "well any friend of phoenixs is a friend of mine and as such i will protect you both from that a** of a vamp damien. i will also find a way to cure lady phoenix from what damien has done."

Dmitri shuddered in shock. "What has Damien done to you Nix?" He looked at his friend in disbelief. Damien had never been able to permenantly hurt her.
Phoenix cast an angry look at her Dragon friend. She wanted to tell Dmitri later. She looked at her oldest friend and sighed. "He bit me." That was all that needed to be said. Dmitri shuddered in shock again.

"im sure hes bound to come back with force. to get her and that is when i will destroy him and his lord. who ever that is."

"I can't see damien working for anyone other than himself," Phoenix muttered. "He thinks he's better than everyone else." Dmitri agreed silently.
Phoenix looked so forlorn. She looked so lost. It took everything Dmitri had not to find Damien and destroy him. It would be fun to watch!

*walks back behind the bar and looks at the two of them* so is there anything i can get for the two of you? food, drink, a room maybe?

Phoenix looked at the Dragon. "That's the great thing about Vampires," she told him. "We rarely need to sleep!" She laughed for the first time in a long time.
Dmitri laughed with Phoenix, keeping a trained ear on the empty space outside the door in the darkness. "Do you happen to have anything a Vampire would find appetizing?" He doubted the Dragon would. He didn't trust things he didn't know. He didn't trust Phoenix's new friend.

*Rouge opens his wings flaps them a little then folds them up* "actualy i do have stuff for vamps. after all i am part vamp." *he heads down stairs and gets a bottle of blood wine and brings it upstairs.* "here you are. fresh blood wine made just last night with fresh blood."

Dmitri looked in amazement as his nose caught the scent of blood. "I can't drink human blood," he explained as he backed away. "It makes it to easy for me to loose control. I feed off animals only." He looked apologetic as he backed farther away.
Phoenix looked unamazed at Dmitri's revalation. She already knew it. "You have been so kind to us Rouge," she said quietly. "How can we ever thank you?" She looked at the Half-Vampire with awe and love. She believed she was falling in love with him.

*he smiles at his vampier friends.* "i dont drink human blood eather. this is made from deer blood. it makes the wine stronger i think."

Phoenix heard Dmitri sigh and smile at Rouge. She laughed quietly but froze when she heard something moving outside. When Damien's scent can to her nose, she stiffened and settled into a defensive crouch.
When Phoenix went defensive, Dmitri mirrored her adn listened intently. He heard someone moving outside and smelled Damien's scent. He growled low in his throat and followed Phoenix as she moved forward.

*he smiles an evil smile as he shifts forms to his large wolf dragon form and charges out the door with a "ROAR!!" he grabs Damien in his teeth and shakes him violently. then pins him to the ground with his grate size and waight.* "damien you a** you dare to show your face here!" "i have all rights to tare you to pices but first i want you to undo what you did to phoenix that has made her so sick."
