I'm 48, live in the US. I have an office job but I'm also a full time grad student. Used to have a great career job, lost it, now trying to get back into the swing of things.

Despite my advanced age, I love gaming and anime. I've been watching anime since before many Gaians were born. When you're old like me, you will enjoy saying things like that. rofl

I pretty much only come to Gaia for Booty Grab anymore. So many changes and so much drama have me a little burned out. I've been here since 06.

Right now, I waste most of my waste-able time on Facebook playing their games. PM me if you play any of them ... maybe we can friend up!

My real name is Kris, Renee is my middle name. (JadedRenee is a reference to Jade Puget of AFI. I'm not a huge squee-type fangirl, it's an in joke with some other friends.) If you want to know what I'm like, here's what I just did on my perfect day off: I slept late, drank lots of coffee while reading and playing zOMG and BG, went shopping with a friend. I made dinner while my wonderful boyfriend (also named Chris) was driving here - my idea of a 'fast food dinner' was crab cakes, cheddar risotto, salad, and a lemon tart. We went and saw Harry Potter in IMAX, and Chris had to keep kissing me to shut me up when I didn't like something they'd changed. We laid in bed talking and giggling about books and movies until he went to sleep, then I came back out here and got back online.

That's me in a nutshell, but here's all the other obvious answers: I'm mid-20s, live in Florida (and love it here), work a weird shift at a bank operations center. I plan on keeping my beloved nerd-boy for some time but there's no marriage or kids as of yet. Besides reading anything I can get my hands on, I also love pretty much any kind of music besides pop or country; I have too many favorite bands to name. Oh, and I'm the only non-Amish person in the industrialized world who doesn't own a television.

Hey Welcome to everyone new and as for you older folks I know how you feel i'm not in that advanced age of 40 something but I still remember watching Astroboy and Candy Candy way back before it was even called anime. There were a few others like Kimba but i'm not sure if that is anime or not.

um...I've been a gaia member for about...probably close to 5 years, this account will say like close to 30 days, I got hacked and had to make a new account, did that about 3 times actually. Someone tried to hack me once, so I kind of let them to show how stupid they were. >.> traded my stuff to a mule account, they got on my account and were like "hey it's me, you can give me my stuff back" cept the spelling was so bad it was hard to even understand and the person didn't know that was a mule account >.> but anyways, pretty much showed them they were retarded to try to do the who "bot need your pw and such thing" not ever going to happen, gaia owns your pw and info! >.>
other account I had I got tired of being a vampire and that was when the potions weren't out to be human yet, so I made another one! and than that one actually did get hacked...so I made this one! and I have most of my things back because I have awesome friends. ^^
Been an anime/ manga fan since I was about...7 or so...first anime I watched was Sailor Moon >.>
