Sid stood up from his chair just as Tosda had hit the ground, making Tosda's thud unheard. "Reaper," he said, stopping the ghost in his tracks, "you know just as well as I do that those heroes don't have the guts to kill anyone or anything. As for you saving him..." Sid smirked, "well, Reaper, it sounds like 'death' himself is going soft." He was ready for the ghost to strike back. It wasn't as if Sid was trying to insult him. He was merely pointing out what he saw.

{REAPER}

Frostbite only cocked his eyebrow. He felt alot of hostility from the thing that was once a tucan. The thing must not have noticed him earlier. Maybe it suffered from memory loss, or it could possibly just be stupid. Frostbite took all of these possibilities into concideration and decided to respond in a simple way. He despised words, so he used actions. Frostbite brought in his cold aura. Sucking it deep within him, his hair thawed. His skin was just as cold as before, and he was just as dangerous if you got close enough, but instead of looking like a human blizzard, he was smooth.

-Reaper-

Animus Sat back down and said to him, "That will do I guess." He turned back to the t.v. continuing his studies when he cocked his head to the side, "Yes, Mother, I remember my task you set me... No, I'm not betraying you... Mother!... I'm studying their technology so I can better defeat them. I've already learned so much that I can use to kill them all... Yes I saw the unnatural one... When?... Yes, Mother" Animus than stood up, turned into a spider monkey and went looking for Reaper.

Lincat laughed, not a scoffing laugh, or mocking laugh, an actual laugh. "Yes, yes." He said without turning around to look at Sid after the man had spoken, "The heroes, no. But what of the cop with his new found powers? Hmmm? He very much enjoys killing both the good and bad ones. It'll be all the more easy for him now." Lincat smirked to himself as he turned around to face Sid, though he was now almost completely through the floor, "And you should know by now. I like to keep things around that prove to be of use to me. You and yours are so far, still usefull." And with that, Lincat fully vanished through the floor.

Lincat returned to the lobby floor, just after Animus had gone off looking for him. Lincat quirked a brow lightly but merely shrugged. It was an animal afterall, couldn't expect it to stay in one place to long. "So, frosty." Lincat said as he went over to the intern, "Did you enjoy meeting my new pet?"

Umbron's clone reporting in from the hero thread.

-Re-flect-

The shadow clone went the long way around the pair out front and raced back to headquarters. Once there, Umbron's shadow clone searched out Re-flect, ignoring the pair in the t.v. room and the monkey in the hallway. Once he found the right room, the shadow made itself into a 3d humanoid figure and reported, "I have scouted out the entire base. Here are the plans for everything," the clone turned into a map of the entire base, and then changed back into the humanoid form. He continued his report, "I have found something of interest to me. I am going to stay here in the hero base for awhile. I will send regular reports. If you see a boy of about 18 that wears a green super suit, Just say any messages you have for me. I will be with him until I report further." The clone was just almost faded out, and then was gone.

{REAPER}

Frostbite watched in curiosity as the creature transformed into another. After Reaper had appeared, he replied. "He is......... interesting." he said coldly. "Reaper, is there anything you wish me to do?" Frostbite's mind was analyzing the ghost. He had called Animus a pet. As far as he could tell, Animus seemed to have his own agenda, even if he did follow what Reaper ordered.

"Hmmmm... Yes. I know." Lincat said as he gave another glance around, looking for the other intern. He would like to take both, rather than just leave on here, trapped in the lobby. Afterall, the intern couldn't have gotten far, unless it turned into something small enough to get through cracks. It had to still be somewhere on this floor. So, being to lazy to acctually look for Animus, Lincat whistled how a human would whistle for its pet dog. "Come on out Animus, time to go." With that said and done, and with a smirk on his face, Lincat headed to the door. "Oh and Frosty, your first task is to make absolutely no ice as we go along."

-Reaper-

Reacting to his name being called, Animus came back into the room. Approaching Reaper and Frostbite, he transformed back into a jagaur. "I was looking for you. I am interested in two things right now. First, I would like a chance to try some of my newly aquired knowledge on the battleground. Also, I would like to send a message to the humans of this city. I would like to tell them that the time of peace is over and that Mother Nature is taking back what's her's," he said to Reaper. He changed into a goose, and prepared to follow Reaper where he was leading them.

You would not keep the Earth green, so Mother Nature will paint it red.

The next time Tosda woke up, it was much gentler then the last time. He laid there for a moment until he got his bearings, then slowly got to his feet. After a moment of dizziness and leaning against his bed, he was steady enough to walk.

So, he left his room, going to look for Sid to find out what happened. Most of the fight was a blur to him, save for the death drop he was subjected to.

Lincat smiled at the message his new pet gave him, apparently from 'Mother Earth', which he figured must be the 'mother' he was talking about. Though he didn't understand how the earth could talk to Animus... "Well that sounds like it'll be nice and bloody." Lincat laughed as he headed out of the base and started heading off towards the downtown area. "I'll take you two to one of the busiest places I know of." He said as they crossed the street and headed down an alleyway.

"Hmmm..." Lincat said as they wandered near a small group of homeless humans huddled around a barrel fire. "I want you two to kill them. But.. do it inovatively. Torture is always an option." he said with a smirk as he awaited to see what the interns would do. He didn't want them to just outright kill the humans without making them suffer at least a little first.

-Reaper-

Smiling at the challenge, Animus trasormed into a small scarab. He scuttled over to the first of the group and burrowed into the man's shoe. The man began to reach down and itch at his covered foot when a small bump began rising up the man's leg. He began to scream in pain. the bump moved further up and further up. The man screamed louder and louder. His fellow hobos were trying to find out why he was screaming as they couldn't see it through the hobo's baggy clothes. Finally Animus reached the neck and everyone could see the bump go up and finally dissappear into the head. At this the man screamed loudly and inccessantly. Finally after a lot of screaming, the man fell over, and a beetle crawled out his nose. The remaining hobos looked at it and moved in to squash it, but it suddenly changed into a lion. The lion growled a fierce growl and they began to run, the lion beginning to chase.

Frostbite could easily keep the air around him from freezing, but his skin was a different story. In fact it was impossible. Frostbites skin was naturally the equivilant of absolute zero, freezing everything it touched, including water vapor. Ignoring the simple mistake by Reaper, he followed. It took him awhile to catch up due to his natural speed, but arrived on the scene in time to hear Reaper's request. He saw Animus take action, paused, then took his chance once the homeless began to run. Figuring that ice was back in play, Frostbite began. A stream of ice quickly found it's way to the men, freezing their feet solid. This caused their ankles to rip from their legs. All of them fell to the ground in agonizing pain, but Frostbite was just getting started. Out of nowhere, several branches of ice appeared, gouging their way into each of the hobo's arms and lifting them from the ground. The cold figure stepped up to a single middle aged man. He looked to Reaper, then back to his victim in question. The man was screaming at a constant rate. "You are so very pitiful." he said almost without tone. The line was ment for Reaper, but it looked as if Frostbite was talking to the homeless guy. Streams of Frostbite's aura entered the man's mouth. Frostbite guided them carefully through his system. First, he froze his stomach, then led the aura through his veins. The man began to suffocate as his lungs slowly iced over, but not before he felt his liver, pancreas, kidneys, ribs, and small intestine rupture into millions of pieces one by one. The concintrated aura had consumed his legs entirely. The man coughed his last breath as the ice creeped out of the corners of his mouth. His entire body turned blue just before it shattered. Frostbite simply left the rest to Animus.

(Heartless...)

Sid saw Tosda walk out of his room. "Welcome to earth. Oh wait, you already met her back in town. How's your head?" Sid didn't mind showing a little bit of care towards Tosda. He wasn't going soft. He simply needed his intern to be in top shape at all times. Before Tosda could answer, he spoke again. "It seems you aren't as in control as I thought. You do know what that means right?" He pointed to the door, letting Tosda know it was time to do some solo practicing. "I will be here in the office if you need me."

-Reaper-

When Animus saw that Frostbite was just going to finish one, he turned into a jagaur and sat down next to one of the others and began enjoying the man's flesh as he watched the show Frostbite was providing. It was like popcorn and a movie, only this popcorn was screaming louder and louder every time Animus took another bite. When Frostbite finished, Animus looked around at the last of the homeless men, and they looked back at the pair with fear in their eyes. Animus stood up, and walked over to the first one, "Your species of animal is so weak. If you don't have your guns, your bulldozers, and your technology, you have nothing. You cannot defend yourself. What a waste of Mother's gift you are." With that, Animus turned into a king cobra and bit each one, one by one. As they writhed in pain from the venom, Animus turned to Reaper. "I need more," he said with a maniacal grin on his face, "I was always told this would be satisfactory, but revenge is so much sweeter than I could ever think of it being."

Lincat watched with amusment on his face as the homeless humans began running for their lives only after the on hobo was already down and dead because of Animus. Then when Frostbite froze all their feet solid which resulted in all the hobo's falling to the ground screaming in agony, he couldn't help but let out a small laugh. It was so fun watch humans die, not nearly as fun as killing them himself, but with interns, you gotta learn what they can do themselves before you can decide what it is you should teach them. At least it was fun to watch. The certainly seemed to know how to cause considerable pain before the acctual death of the human occurs.

When all the homeless humans were dead, Lincat realized he liked Animus much more than he liked Frostbite. Not that he really liked either of them as anything more than amusement and a means to kill more humans. But he still liked Animus more, for the simple fact that the animal seemed to rather enjoy the killing of humans. Frostbite seemed to take it on as if it were a chore to do and get done with. "Oh yes... Revenge is always such a lovely thing to indulge in." He commented as he headed off, out of the alley now littered with dead homeless humans. "Now. I want you both to be ... eh.. inconspicuous. Draw as little attention to yourselves as possible untill we get to our destination." As he spoke, the entered a street that was for the most part empty, but an ajoining street just up ahead was full of humans going about their daily business.

Changing into a dog, Animus followed at Frostbite's heels, making sure to growl at anyone that got too close.

{REAPER}

Frostbite be inconspicuous? At first he thought Reaper might be joking, but as soon as he saw Animus turn into a dog, he had an idea. Frostbite sucked in his aura, making sure not to let Animus get frozen. He then pulled a large tattered blanket from his pack. The blanket was designed by the same person who gave Frostbite his clothes. He wrapped the blanket around him and hunched over. His natural slow speed helped in this masquerade. He looked as if he was just another sick hobo with his loyal companion.

(Can't touch this.. Frostbite time oh oh oh. oh oh oh.)
(No, really... you'd freeze solid and break into a million pieces)

(Sorry ^.^'.... in a funny mood)
