Jester returned the kisses he was given, pleased to find that Kio wasn't angry with him. Thomas' laughter made a smile come over his lips. "Powers? Maybe. At the very least he helped clear my head." Jester admitted before he was set down.

The Master handed him a package and his eyebrows came together. He took it carefully in his fingers and looked it over. He crossed his legs and dropped down onto his butt with a soft thud. He was looking the present over like he had been just been handed a puzzle rather than a gift. After looking it over, he slid his fingers beneath the paper, being overly careful not to rip the wrapping.

After saying their thank yous, the other servants started heading back to work. They had their presents in their hands and would return to their rooms on the way to put their new things away. They left their master and his pet to themselves. Thomas wanted to stay, but he got Ikki and headed out of the room.

Kio watched Jester opening his package so very carefully. Kio wondered why. It was only paper that would be thrown away. But he didn't ask. When Jester finally got it open, he looked at his face and wondered if he really liked what he'd gotten him. "Do you not like it? I wasn't sure what you would want, but I had hoped you'd like it."

Jester couldn't help the smile that spread over his face as he looked at his gift. He clicked the flashlight on and then off again, rolling it over in his hands. "Very funny." Still, he was smiling. The flashlight clicked on again and he aimed it under the table nearby. It was bright, considering how small it was.

"I'm glad you like it. There are clothes in there as well." Kio said seeing Jester had only stopped at the flashlight.

Kio gave Jester a few more moments to look over the rest of the items before saying to Jester, "Come upstairs with me."
