[Its-a-Lyn]

Meanwhile, Jade had gotten completely lost in Petalburg Woods. He had heard a girl screaming earlier and he thought it was Liz but...it wasn't. He had been wandering around now, sad and lonely. Not caring which direction he went. He was very sad indeed. "WHY!!!!!!" He screamed, to no one in particular and for no real reason. It just made him feel better.  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn had nearly forgotten the pokemon egg in her bag. She took it out, checked on it, and listened to the noises it would make. She walked back to the Pokemon Center after rewrapping the pokemon egg and placing it back in her bag. Tiger was asleep waiting for her. Nurse Joy showed them where to sleep and Lyn sat down on the bed. It was nothing like her bed at home, but it was good. Tiger slept at the bottom edge and Lyn made a small nest for the egg by her head. She was reading a book she brought with her, Meeting Mr. Mime: A Pokemon Love-Story About Jynx and the Mime She Couldn't Help Double Slapping.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris appeared in front of Karen wearing a severely aggravated frown and several scratches on her face.

"Hello. Do you still want me to join you...?"  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen jumped slightly as Aeris appeared before her. "Oh, it's you, Aeris. You scared me! And of course I still- oh no, look at you!" She reached out an arm to gingerly touch the girl's face. "You're hurt... what happened while you were gone? Is Han alright?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris started as the girl touched her face-

"It's a long story..." She pulled out the pokeball that was shoved into her belt. "Revolving around this..."

At that moment, Han appeared behind her, looking exhausted but unhurt.

Can we rest first, Aeris? You need to rest, I won't be able to hold on to your soul if we don't both rest!

"Were you headed to the pokemon center? It's a story better told indoors..I'm very tired...." Aeris's eyes drooped closed. it was impossible for a ghost to sleep, because if they did they would pass into the next world. However, it wasn't impossible for a ghost to recharge their energies through a trancelike state. This was the kind of rest Aeris desperately needed, before her energy ran dry and she actually did fall asleep. Not even Han could help her then...  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn lay in bed, she was getting ready to fall asleep. She said good night to Tiger and the egg.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Oh, of course! Let's go!" Karen skipped ahead of Aeris and held the door open for her as they all entered the Pokemon Center. She asked the nurse if there were rooms in the Center and was informed that there were plenty of available rooms upstairs.

"We can stay here for the night. Do you want your own room or is one fine? They're free so it really doesn't matter either way," she said to Aeris with a smile.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Don't...care...one?" She was leaking energy like a dripping focet, and she knew she needed to collapse, now. To help keep her from falling asleep, Han dug his claw into her shoulder with the silent prayer that the pain would keep his friend with him.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Alright, one please!" she said to the nurse and recieved one of the room keys. She glanced back at Aeris and giggled. "Wow, you really are tired. Well, let's hurry to our room before you collapse out here!"

Karen walked up the stairs and to their room, opening the door with the key she had just recieved. She entered the small room with Cosette following close behind her and sat down on one of the two beds.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

The affect was immediate. Aeris sat cross legged on the bed with her back against the wall and slipped into her trance. It would be a little bit before hers and Han's powers were recharged enough to even carry on a comprehendable conversation.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen stared at Aeris, a bit confused by her actions. Oh well, that must be how she normally slept, though it was a bit odd. But there were a lot of odd things about this girl, which only made Karen want to get to know her even better. She walked into the adjoining restroom to shed her dress, revealing an undershirt and a pair of shorts underneath, and to brush her teeth. Karen walked back out and curled up on her bed. She watched the sleeping Aeris curiously.  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn woke up very refreshed. She loved sleep. She checked on her pokemon egg and watched Tiger sleep growl. Every so often, Tiger would flick his ear or his foot would twitch, side effects of his dream. He thought he had just defeated the Elite Four and Champion. He was about to be congratulated by the champion when all of a sudden, "GOOD MORNING TIGER!" Lyn streched and yawned and smiled at her rudely awakened Growlithe. He glared at her through his one opened eye lid. Though neither of them knew it, the creature inside the egg was giggling.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen rolled over in her sleep and wound up falling off the bed onto the floor with a loud 'thud'. She quickly jumped up and surveyed the room around her, remembering where she was. "Right, we're at the Rustboro Pokemon Center..." she whispered to herself. She glanced over at Aeris who was still sitting upright against the bed, fast asleep. She smiled at the girl, found a pad of paper, and scribbled a note for her in case she woke up: Good morning, Aeris! I'm out right now looking around for some good shopping. I won't be wandering outside the city, so you can come find me when you wake up if you want to!

Karen silently placed the note in front of the girl and ran into the bathroom to wash her face and get dressed. That done, she motioned to Cosette to follow her and left the Pokemon Center.  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn put the egg gently in her bag. Not wanting to come out yet, the eggling refrained from telling Lyn to wash her sweater. Tiger stretched and yawned, not quite ready for a new day. He knew Lyn would rush out into the wilderness and do something stupid. Lyn gathered the rest of her items, brushed her teeth and left the room. She later came back to let Tiger out. It was going to be a big day, she sensed it.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen held open the door of the door open for Cosette. She saw another trainer approaching with a Growlithe trotting at her side and decided to hold the door open for her as well. The Growlithe reminded Karen of her good friend Lyn... she wondered how she was doing and where she was. As the other trainer came closer, Karen was able to take a closer look at her.

"Lyn? Lyn, is that you? Omigod, how are you?!" Karen let go of the door and tackled Lyn with a big hug.
