Sosol was close behind, holding the double-edge blade from the dojo. He hadn't said a word since they returned, partially because he was trying to keep himself in check; emotional surges, especially with his psychic ability, were never good in a non-combat situation. He looked through the vision from the past again, trying to concentrate on anything that could help. The initial slash, the volley back and forth...
"He smiled a lot..." He observed quietly, angrily, from his seat, "like he was having fun...sadistic b*****d..." The neighboring chair began to lift from the ground, but with a deep breath and a bit of willpower, he set it back down.

Gren raised an eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure it'd be Tyler. The other two aren't exactly common..."
Looking over to Sosol, he said "Know anyone named Tyler, Sol?"

Standing from the ground and slumping next to Gren, MacPere placed his hat in his lap, scratching Moonbeam under the chin as she seemed to detect something wrong.

"Tyler...? I...maybe..." Sosol thought for a moment with eyes closed. While his memory was by no means bad, he had an awful lot to remember with all the visions that made themselves known.
Tyler...Tyler...GMO...Tyler... A vague image approached him, a shadow in the back of his mind, and as he tried to pull it into focus, he winced, his head beginning to throb. He held a hand to his temple, trying to focus through the headache as he pulled at the memory. It eluded him, slipping away as he opened his eyes again, breathing heavily.
"...I know that name...but I can't see how...it's like...someone erased him," he said at last, catching his breath. "He's not psychic...he couldn't have done this."

"Your technology is superior to that of the everyday... If he were smart, like James, say, it may be a possibility..." To the shoulder rub, MacPere draped an arm around the back of the chair, hand on the furthest of Gren's shoulders.

"I don't know," Sosol replied quickly. "Az and I decided he wasn't psychic, or a mage...otherwise, he would have used those abilities. All of the murders so far have been completely mundane...if he was part of the GMO, he would have had to be a pentacle or a sword. Sorry, a physical or mental prodigy..."
He rubbed his temple, still aching a bit from trying to dredge up the name Tyler from his memory. "That's a possibility, I guess...but even our technology has its limits. I myself don't know them, unfortunately..."
The more they talked about it, the more he wished James weren't locked in HQ...Protocol Ten was beginning to be more harm than help.

Sosol pulled off his shades, setting them aside as he rested his head on his arms, eyes closed. All of this was so sudden, so random...and about the only good thing about it was that she was taken rather than killed on the spot like so many others.
It should've been me...I was supposed to protect her... He thought bitterly. Why didn't she let me...?

Brow crinkled at its peak, Gren sighed sadly, standing up and setting Moonbeam onto his warm spot. "I'm going to start dinner...no use fretting on an empty stomach." he said, smiling a bit thinly.
(Terribly sorry, got booted off, and soon will be summoned to eat dinner...)

Sosol nodded weakly, his head still in his arms. As they both left the room, he opened his eyes, staring at the opposite wall for a minute before reaching into his pocket, pulling out the other pactio card, the cloak.

Well, the sword isn't going to do you any good...and I don't think it's fair to hold onto everything.
I'm not a mage...what makes you think I can even use it?
I'm not sure the user needs magic...I think it's just stored there. Hard to say, though.
With a small grumble, he shoved it back in his pocket. Some good it did in his hands...
Up in Azana's room, the cell phone on the desk began to ring...
