Hell yeah Tim Howard is killing it! He needs to be given a damn medal after this. But seriously just shoot me. Hell yeah, he should be awarded one. I can't imagine how tired he must be after so many saves. Not yet, you could get shot after the games end. Xzaro Mikasa Kari Xzaro I have done my fair share of Naruto roleplays in the past 4-5 years but honestly for the past year or so I have seen a decline in interest. Maybe it's because I feel as if I've done it all already as far as personalities, techniques, or even motivations for my characters but I haven't been able to get inspired to do anything. Anyone else willing to share their experiences or suggest ways to deal with it? I find it to be a great shame because I really do want to be active in a roleplay and maybe even moderate but I want an interesting contribution to be made by me... I just feel like I can't do that anymore. crying When ever that happens, I usually collaborate with others and think of a way to help make things more interesting because when things are kept moving, you're more interested unless it's like your overly cliche idea then.. sweatdrop but if the rp starts back up, why not building a character that you would never use? Thing is I feel like I've done it all. Idk what kind of character I would never use. I can list you the type of characters I've done in the past?

Xzaro Datenshi Kage
My main RPC who's changed many times throughout my RP history. He is usually high ranking and has been a missing-nin, Akatsuki, and even a Kage at one point. His background is always the same though, his memory was wiped out and all he remembers are how his friends were killed by a man named Necro and that some dark chakra awakened around that time. Most times though I write it so that he's already located and killed this Necro and that his new goal is to bring back his village "Kagegakure." He is intelligent and strategic but nearly emotionless and only expresses emotions (usually negative) when trying to release his dark chakra, which is connected to his emotions. The final stage of this bloodline is that his hatred consumes him and he becomes the zero-tailed masked leech. Outside of his dark chakra related abilities he is well rounded and very proficient in using a sword, summoning reptiles, and fuuinjutsu. Just think of Sasuke when you think of him.
Aiiro Tsuki
An RPC I roleplay with when I want to be random. He is basically a cat boy and his abilities revolve around that, taijutsu, and cat summonings. He is usually genin or maybe even chunin. His philosophy is that everything must be equal when concerning good and evil. If not, the world will be unbalanced and so it will fall apart. Aiiro believes that the world has too much good in it so he tries his best to preserve the evil. He is VERY emotional and random but his alignment is definitely more on the chaotic evil side.
Migoto Amagasa
He is an artist who believes that the ugly must perish for beauty is the next step in the evolutionary pattern so he obviously thinks very highly of himself and is egotistical, selfish, and narcissistic. He is chunin usually but sometimes he's a genin. His abilities revolve around using sound waves so he's good at genjutsu and ninjutsu revolving that. He is kind of frail so he is weak at taijutsu but he is very good looking.
Teru Uten
A puppeteer usually genin or chunin who is an Uzumaki. He uses five puppets the size of ping pong balls, one for each finger but in truth his puppets are souls that have been sealed to objects using Uzumaki fuuinjutsu. I've worked out his personality to be confident and his alignment to be more on the good guy's side but I never really gave him a background. His goal was to be the best puppeteer in his village.
Nemo Kurama
A high ranking RPC who has been at several points a Kag'es advisor but has also been a missing-nin. His abilities revolve around his Kurama bloodline who specialize in genjutsu that affect reality. His personality is pure evil and has a bipolar disorder and his goal is to make an ultimate genjutsu that will allow him to alter all of reality.
Taiyou Hyuga
A Hyuga who specialized in wind, earth, and fire techniques. I don't remember much about him since I lost his profile but he was either chunin or Anbu and was very lawful and obedient to his village.
Mugen
A boy either chunin or genin who could use Ranton (storm release) and lightning and water. He was a good guy and his personality similar to a stereotypical young boy's and his goal was to be Kage. He was good at lightning and water elemental usage too.
Airon Aguira
Never actually roleplayed with this one but he was going to use Imagination release which was a bloodline I created that never got accepted. Basically he could change reality using his imagination and make things imaginary, possible. Very overpowered but I think that idea was made at my peak of creativity. In the Bleach manga there was a character who could do this very thing if you want to get a better idea of what I mean.
Masashi Kishimoto
Yes... I roleplayed the creator of Naruto. He could make drawings come to life (similar to Sai) and he would just step in to make things interesting storyline wise. He was a jounin.
Noah
A scientist whose abilities revolved around the branch of Marine Biology. He was A-ranked and he was an inquisitive man who valued knowledge over everything. His goal was to bring balance to the world's ecosystem because humans had been destroying it, and this had to be done in any way possible.
Nu-Xzaro
A character I based on my main RPC Xzaro. He was a chunin. This guy had similar personalities but his motives were to stop feeling because he was actually a good guy who cared too deeply about his friends. As a result, at the final stage of his bloodline rather than transforming into a demon he's become a sort of angel. He was a good guy.
Adramelech
A power hungry Kage who only wished to become god. He found nature to be silly and that it had to be tampered with by humans in order for it to be useful. His abilities were what made him powerful and interesting; he could manipulate his body cells. These very same cells if they came in contact with others would infect them and eventually kill or transform them.
Nia
Adramelech's daughter who was a half breed. Because she was a half breed she had a shorter than normal life expectancy and limited body manipulation abilities. Her goal is to find true love and to have a child before she dies. Her personality is firendly and she is overall sweet and caring, maybe a bit shy to strangers.
Ashley Mitarashi
Lost her profile so I don't remember her too much but she was a typical Sound village ninja with a cursed mark, snake summonings, and what made her special was her Boil Release. She also used a giant fan for wind release techniques and she was a sensor and a healer. Needless to say her abilities were very useful in any kind of situation. I don't remember her personality too well but she dressed slutty.
Tenshi?
A Kage for Iwagakure I believe who used solely Earth release techniques. He believed that with this alone he could defeat any shinboi and this led to his downfall. He was very strict, close minded, and lawful. He was the only character I actually planned to kill off. Don't remember if he was a good guy or a bad guy but he always kept the interests of his village above all else. Think Danzo.
Edge
A chunin whose defining feature is that he's an anarchist punk. I used him more for philosophical discussions than actual fighting but his abilities revolved around three things: spray paint that brings drawings to life (similar to Sai's), paper that can be manipulated (similar to Konan's), and the Scorch Release. He'd spend his time puling pranks and causing ruckus to happen but his goal was simply to abolish the Kage system and to replace it with anarchy.
I have also roleplayed Tobi when he was thought to be Madara, Kurimaru Kushiarare the swordsmen, and Nagato both before edo tensei and after. |
