Remy, sheepish, peeked over the top of the bottle and was relieved that the subject could be changed. "Ah, um...i-is she okay?"
Gren soon returned with a broom, dustpan, and damp cloth. Sweeping up the shards and the tea, he wiped down the area not only to remove the tackiness but to catch remaining glass. Finished, he disposed of the glass and tossed the cloth into the wash rinsing his hands and returning with two fresh cups. "Sorry 'bout that..." he grinned. "I'll bet you'd fancy sugar and milk with your tea..."

Angeles snatched the bottle from him and sipped at it before answering, "she should be fine, she survived Louie after all."
Emily took to dragging the cat into her lap and continuing to pet the animal when Gren came back out and made a comment about her tea. She smiled and clapped her hands but stopped when it hurt and looked down at her hand.

He listened to his friends go back and forth and was about to offer his thoughts on the matter when suddenly he heard a voice from his new "companion".
Christopher Roberts of Gaia, you have been summoned for initiation and training. You will report at once.
TEKKER spoke up saying "I would advise against it, master. We still don't know the ring's origins or intentions. It could prove to be dangerous."
"I know, old friend, but danger is our job. Why not see how this plays out for the time being. It could be fun." Without blinking, he willed the ring to proceed. In a flash of emerald energy, Knightsoul vanished.

Sosol noticed Gren arriving with a new cup after cleaning the slight mess he made earlier. He watched him talk about providing milk and sugar to Emily and smiled at the scene before giving him the latest news. "It appears Erik's been able to get in contact with Azana. Don't ask me how...I've never seen anything like it before."
He shook off the concerns momentarily, trying to focus on making sure everyone was up to speed. "She sent him messages...thinks she's underground somewhere, but she has no idea beyond that. Tyler...I think he caught her with the notes...she might be moving soon." It was the only thing he could think of that he'd be angry about...and thinking about Tyler with Azana was starting to make him more angry than nervous...
"I doubt he'll give her anything to write with..." He said to both Gren and Erik. "We'll have to find another way, regardless of what happens..."
The phone was a heavy weight in his pocket. That man was likely on the other end of the line...and Sosol wasn't sure if he could talk to him without breaking a few glasses himself. He pulled it out, looking at it as though it were getting ready to jump off his hand and run away. Things were heating up far more quickly than he figured...so why was he hesitating?

"Want me to take that?" He asked Sosol. He knew being hesitant never helped anybody. "Unless you think you can handle it, if it's him." Erik said. He could only predict what would be said.

-Calmy and with a look of satisfaction and content Aris strolled into the Inn whistling an improvisational tune as he took the guitar off his back and set it in the corner of the room before turning around and heading to the bar for a drink-

A brilliant flash of green and Knightsoul had returned. He had finished his training with the ring and had used it to recreate his armor. He took a seat at his usual table and spotted his old friend Aris. "Hello, Aris. It's been a while. How are you?"

"Knight!! How have you been!"
-he ran over and hugged him accordingly-
"Geez its been some time! how have you been?...or rather where!?"

"Since I saw you last? First I went back home to deal with an old...acquaintance. Then I got back here and heard about Johnny Gambino's murder and started working the case. Then, today, while I was chasing down a lead, this ring found me and whisked me away to another planet. I just got back."

Kageko walked into the inn from the front door, dressed in her usual outfit. Looking around, she saw a number of familiar faces, faces that she hadn't been able to see for far too long. "Knight! Aris!" she exclaimed as she ran over to the table that they were both sitting at.

Sosol glared at Erik, flipping open the phone and highlighting the unlisted missed call. He hit the green button quite hard, and listened intently to the ringing as he distanced himself from the other patrons.
"Hello," the voice at the other end greeted jovially.
"Is this Tyler?" Sosol asked, a surprisingly harsh tone in the gentleman's voice.
"Yes...to whom am I speaking? The phone says 'Azana Brown'...that can't be right. You don't sound a thing like her."
"What did you do with her?" Sosol asked angrily, though his voice barely rose, as he didn't want those uninvolved listening in.
"Oh, this must be the secretive psychic Sosol...mm, alliterations...I just had to relocate her temporarily. You people are watching her somehow...and we really need our privacy."
"You're going to hate it when we find you, then," Sosol replied, "and we will find you."
"I have every intention of you finding me, Sosol...I'll be standing over the corpses of every GMO agent on Gaia soon enough. With the way you're speaking to me, you're heading toward the front of the line...you wouldn't want that, would you, Azana?" There was silence for a moment before Tyler's voice was once again heard. "Seems she's at a loss for words."
"Azana! Listen to me! We're coming for you...just hold on!" Sosol called into the receiver, hearing nothing in reply.
Tyler laughed on the other end. "Not if I come for you, first. One by one..."
At the sound of the dial tone, Sosol had to fight back the extremely strong urge to shatter the phone in his hand. That entire conversation, and Tyler had given absolutely nothing away while angering him far beyond anything he had felt before.
He turned to Erik. "The moment you can see her in that thing again, I want to know...we have to reach her. If he knows her as well as he seems to convey, she's in serious trouble."
