	The best copy sharingan system i have seen was a dice oll system. A chakra cost to attempt the copy around 85 Chakra and a dice roll of 1-10. 9 options being a wasted effot, 1 option to copy. The chances could be increased by doing certain missions or acts but maxed out at 3-10 ratio to copy..... But thats just me.

	thefire158 See, thats not the problem though. It doesn't matter if it took 100 years to learn other Mangekyo abilities, the fact is that YOU can keep/store other mangekyou abilities for use. Thats why it is labeled OP, maybe you could "borrow" an ability for a short amount of time -- A few posts? Then it goes away forever, but the fact of keeping other abilities just doesn't make sense.

It doesn't matter if it took 100 years to learn other Mangekyo abilities, the fact is that YOU can keep/store other mangekyou abilities for use. Thats why it is labeled OP, maybe you could "borrow" an ability for a short amount of time -- A few posts? Then it goes away forever, but the fact of keeping other abilities just doesn't make sense. It was supposed to not be OP just because of how much you had to use to switch between them, plus the cost of using the ability itself. I'm not opposed to tweaking it, I just don't want a boring or underpowered ability. I'd be willing to change it to copying one, and keeping that copied ability until its overwritten by another one so only one ability can ever be on hand.

	thefire158 I'm not a Mod on that subject or a Mod at all, but I'd just leave it alone until it gets graded ... or something? However, I really just wanted to see the thought process on the ability from you before asking if this could even get put into the guild as a real custom ability. Now my honest opinion on how not how to make it boring or underpowered; Is to find a good idea for the character that isn't someone else's ability. Though you mentioned earlier it fits his persona, can you explain further? I could bring out a hint of an idea, maybe, but on the lines of customs ... People like to over think abilities, however Customs are really easy if you follow the three steps: K.I.S.S - Keep, It, Simple, Stupid ~! (Military term from the Navy lol) Don't think big, and don't think small. Be practical. Too many over powered abilities are stupid in my honest opinion, do something that could change the fight with such a simplistic matter, than another over powered ability. Though sorry for preaching.

	thefire158 Sergeant Bloodhound Can somebody fish out my Mist Advanced Sword Style from the old Custom Weapons sub-forum. It should be in the "Bloodhound's Armory" thread. Did Mist Standard get accepted back into use yet? I just... Assume it is. It was never really removed from use, officially, at least. I kind of like having it as a little-known style, but if it needs to be re-listed, so be it.

No, it's cool for preaching. It's a breath of fresh air when somebody actually talks to the other person when they think there's an issue. The only think I'd yell at you about is your tiny text. I feel like I need glasses :p But I won't be touching it until it's ruled on. The whole idea behind the custom is that the character is very childlike and carefree due to his perception of the world. A compounded Chiru and Sharingan causes his perception and reaction time abilities to skyrocket, and I imagine everything to be a lot more vivid and meaningful through his eyes. Thus the copying ability is signifying of his wanting to see everything through this sorta lens. I'm not trying to be OP, but I want to stand a chance. If you knew of the previous Armand Tikoshi RPC...well, he basically made the kage spot through anything BUT being powerful. A genin could kill him because of how completely underpowered or conflicting his combat traits were. But don't get me wrong, Im not trying to be a Muffin or Wings in terms of character building haha.

Yeah thats understandable, because it hasn't been entirely proven its a no. I see, so the RPC is a bit of a free spirit in the case he doesn't take anything seriously yet? I would think a cool imagination Mangekyou ability might sit is features, like bringining thoughts to life. Then again, that sounds OP to an extent aswell xD. Though I've fully grasped the idea of your character and why you want to do it. Though for the kid to study an ability while he is care free, wouldn't that place him at a disadvantage and kind of push his character persona away from this non-caring guy into a thinker? Though this is my opinion, I would focus on ability that works with his mind of being care free and not taking anything serious, almost trolling his opponents without doing anything crazy. The question is what indeed.

The question is what indeed. Eh, good enough. I figured the counter to that thinker/studying part was that the ability is more like having an appreciation for something. Like, say flowers. All kinds, all colors, all look pretty nice. But you don't have to be a/become a botanist to like them, right?

	thefire158 No ~ Though as long as you don't take care of the flowers with feeling. Thats why I kind of thought it might break the character cause he has to actually take his time with something, and when have you seen a kid take something carefully with precision XD. Although don't let these thoughts discourage your ideas.
