Azana stretched as she came downstairs, her hair still damp and a wide smile across her face. "A good night's sleep and a shower do won--" She stopped, realizing that she wasn't just talking to thin air anymore. Gren had finally made up for his sleep-deprivation, and Eli was nearby.
"Hi!" She said cheerfully, waving before she headed back to the kitchen. She was well-rested and happy to be home, sure...but that didn't do much for her empty stomach.

Gren waved casually as Azana passed, not bothering to unhinge his busy jaws, and wrapping his arms around MacPere's waist. A lot of time had been lost, but oh, he had plans to make up for it...

Giving the passing Azana a single wave, MacPere hastily wrapped his arms around the shoulders, tilting his head to one side and thus allowing their lips to lock without hindrance. It certainly seemed that Grencia had missed his presence after a few days... He wondered what would await after a month...

Eventually rising for air, he panted slightly, smiling. "That was for two missed days...and a whole lot of bother..." he said, petting MacPere's cheek gently.

Smiling back, he leaned into the pet, eyes closed. "Well, I think that makes up for a lot more than two days..." He purred, opening an eye to look to his love. "Care to make up for anything else~?"

Azana was about to slip out of the kitchen with a rather eclectic choice of foods for her late lunch, but spying the two lovebirds in the main room, she backed up and put the plate back on the counter. They had been separated for days, and Eli was going to be leaving for a month...they deserved some time alone, and eating in the kitchen would save the trip she'd have to take to wash the dishes.
Gren seemed so tired, Azana thought to herself in between grateful bites, more than he should have been...I hope he's alright.
Sosol remained upstairs, working on Azana's laptop as he read through E-mails. He opened up one from Stella, reading it aloud to himself...
"Agents Brown and Jacobs, I congratulate you on your recent success and offer my consolation for your troubles...wow, she's got the business language down," he said with a chuckle, continuing. "As you return to your post at the Inn of Peace, I have a small announcement to make...we have a new recruit joining your team...a Pentalpha who I feel would complement your current dynamic well. Ooh, Az isn't going to like that...I wonder who she picked up on such short notice?"

MacPere purred and shifted to stand, scooping Gren up bridal-style. "Well then, let's..." As he walked to the stairs, he called out to the kitchen, "It's safe now, Azana!" Before pecking the saxophonist's forehead.

He wrapped his arms around MacPere's shoulders, tucking his legs for the stroll up the stairs. "This is gonna be good..."

"Thanks, Eli!" She yelled back with laughter. "Have fun!" She picked up the half-eaten meal and walked back out to the main room, watching them vanish upstairs. Azana took a seat, letting her mind wander as she quickly finished the rest of the food on her plate.
Sosol narrowly missed the couple as he opened the door, heading downstairs to break the news to his girlfriend and partner. Hopefully she was still too drained to kill the messenger...he could imagine it now.
Stella's sending us a brand new recruit? I don't want to trip over some newbie! Azana's hypothetical voice echoed in his mind. He shook his head, though; if this person was immediately placed as a Pentalpha...they could hold their own just fine.

Erik walked into the inn, looking as cocky yet reserved as ever. "Hey Azana, I'm the new recruit if you haven't already heard, Pentalpha is what I think Stella called me."
