I knoooowwww, it's been like 50 years. The other day I was doing something and I was like "what do I even do online anymore" because I still waste like half my time on here when I'm not doing college junk. Plus I'm still on break so I was like "let's go back on gaia". I was not ready for the inflation stuff, I actually got a box and won like 36 million gold and I was like YESSSS but then I went to the marketplace and was disappoint emotion_8c .

It's only been like 3 years or something. emotion_dealwithit I feel ancient.

Trolling around would be ideal but I've been meaning to start roleplaying again too lately. .o. Things are different though, it would take me like 5 years to pick up the motivation to make a new character and stuff but I still want to.

What changed since I've been gone?

Eh, not sure when you finally kicked the bucket here, I prolly left before you. We have a new strength/speed system to ballpark power levels, everyone has chakra levels and each jutsu costs X amount. You can get 2 bloodlines/clans (either or). Currently Kiri and Konoha are open till the end of the arc. But don't join kiri, its a dump. I'm making a new RPC if you need someone to RP with.

Its still really only for ballparking. That way people can't say 'no way, im faster then u n00b'. That being said, someone 2-3 speed higher then you is noticeably faster, and someone 4-5 speed faster will run circles around you.

i wish i didn't have to pick a class at the beginning

why does my fresh out of the academy genin have to have his ninja path planned out already i'd much rather take after my sensei and be a rock lee-type(not the mannerisms the sensei-student dynamic)

Kinda wanna be a medic class but I always do that. But it's also fun.

Like yes I see your point but I think it's more or less there to prevent weird things from happening like the character learning x skillset, then choosing y class that actually prevents the character from using x skillset. That way you avoid the weird "I could do it before but I changed my class and it's suddenly undoable biggrin " kind of thing you could get.

Or I could be wrong, I haven't been here in ages tho

you're right and I totally get that from a balance standpoint

but i wish I could like just hold off on picking a class until I have a sensei then i can use their's.

that'd be the plan anyway idk. i really crave a close mentor type relationship where my char becomes the successor to another's legacy or something

Cursemarks are no longer valid aka they are closed. Someone has to revamp them since we made the jutsu boost chance.
