Azana leaned against the bar, looking over at Angeles on occasion. Just what had happened to trigger that...? It wasn't like she had an agent stalking her or anything, not that it was possible anyway. Shaking her head of those thoughts, she watched Eli and Gren, as they seemed to be gearing up for a quick tune. With a shrug, she sat on a nearby stood, content to wait.
Sosol hovered a glass of Angeles' favorite over to her in a conciliatory gesture, a quick doodle on the napkin beneath it. He could understand her distrust of them, especially given his own abilities. Ever since their short conversation in the kitchen, she had been putting up walls...it was obvious he had said too much.

Cracking his fingers, he took a seat at the piano, poised and ready. "I know it all too well, thanks to you..." he murmured, petting the underside of his chin before beginning to play.

Swaying his head as the chords played, he gently cooed the words, eyes closed.

Fingers dancing across the keys, he flicked his gaze up to the singer, a loving smile tucked into his cheek. Moments like this felt the most real, just them, singing and playing...an audience of friends, number no matter...

Playing a finishing coda, letting the last notes linger under a pedal's pressure, he leaned forward, kissing the flipped lips warmly. After a few moments, he pulled back slightly, whispering "Beautiful as always..."

Sosol nodded with a calm smile. It was always such a delight to see those two perform together...

Angeles looked up as a glass of blood was deposited to her table with a napkin beneath it. She lifted the glass and looked at the doodle before looking over at the two GMO operatives. She sniffed the blood for any oddities before taking a sip and studying the doodle.

Azana jumped up from the stool. "You're on, Eli!" She said cheerfully, smiling from ear to ear at the thought. "You thinkin' where I'm thinkin'...?"
Sosol glanced over to Angeles, watching her survey the blood and the doodle. And he thought Azana was paranoid...this vampire took the cake. Then again, with her reputation, she had reason to be...he just wished she could at least trust the guy who served her drinks.
"Don't go too easy on him!" He called to Azana with a wave as they got ready to depart.

Angeles flipped the doodle over and left it be before she sat back and drank a little more from her glass. She did not fear poison or any other mortally lethal things one could get from an apothecary. But she had seen some hings that troubled her as of late: the wine that could get a vampire drunk, holy-water bullets. She was beginning to not be able to even trust her friends, perhaps it was a sign that she should leave.
