Angeles was pouring herself a glass when Sosol entered and the flow of blood stopped. She tilted the bottle further back and set it slowly on the counter, glaring suspiciously at Sosol, putting up her mental walls against his telepathy, "what do you want?"

"Besides," Azana added to Gren's statement, "you'll need the funds for more supplies, right...?" She crossed her arms, knowing that this was an argument she could actually win. "Just take it as a compliment."
"I want to talk to you, Angeles," Sosol said, somewhat intimidated by her glare but staying firm. "And perhaps to apologize..."

Angeles glared for a bit longer before she returned her attention to the blood and poured herself the rest of the glass. She stopped the bottle and put it back in its cupboard, shutting it and lifting her glass, she turned around and leaned back against the counter before taking a sip and her eyes snapping up to the man, "begin."

Walking back down the stairs, he counted out the cash in his hands, holding it out to Remy once complete. "Here we are; 75,000, as promised."

Sosol took a deep breath, both to prepare himself for the oncoming apology and to settle his nerves. "I suppose I'll start with an apology," he said, though his voice was a bit more quiet than usual. "I'm sorry for getting into your business...it really wasn't my place. If it is any comfort, I did not know of details, only that you were hiding something from someone and thinking a lot about it. Given my background, I've learned that telling the truth is usually the best policy...but I suppose I need to learn a bit more about discretion in doing so."
He folded his arms, looking down and away behind his sunglasses. "I don't want you to see me that way...as someone who thinks they know better than you. As being nosy and inconsiderate..."
"Told ya being an artist is lucrative," Azana chuckled, though she was a bit surprised herself at the price of the work. Was he just being nice, or did he really think that highly of it...? Either way, Remy wasn't going to have to worry about getting new supplies for a while...

Angeles sipped her blood again, remaining silent as he spoke and apologized. She kept the glass to her lips, letting the scent of the blood tantalize her nose as he seemed to finish. She then tipped the lass back and took another drink before setting it down on the counter and folded her arms.
"That is the wrong thing to apologize for," she said, looking at him over her sunglasses, "advice is something that shouldn't be apologized for if your intentions are good," she tilted her head down slightly and her pupils slitted a bit more, "and I heard you and Azana speaking last night about your ability, that sometimes you can't help it. My mind is pretty much the only thing that is truly mine, and even that is questionable, nonetheless I don't want it invaded."

With his smile never faltering, MacPere took the canvas in hand and placed the wad of bills into one pale, cold hand. "If you'll excuse me, I need to take this up..."

"Completely understandable," Sosol responded quickly, his eyes back on Angeles. "Most people like keeping their thoughts safe...and I do what I can to honor that. I can't take back what I've Seen, and I know that...but I can work to prevent it in the future. Is that satisfactory?" He asked, already trying to figure how he could assure Angeles of her mental privacy...
MindShield fabric, maybe...? Taylor usually has a supply on hand...oh, what if he's already cracked that Catapsi machine...? That could work...but that'd interrupt her summoning, wouldn't it?
Azana gave a nod of approval as Eli vanished upstairs with the painting. "Well, Remy...you're officially a professional..."
((Gotta dash for a bit! Practicum time. Oh, and I should have my Sosol pic ready tonight! He's just about all sketched...))

Gren watched quietly, tossing his head to cue Azana to come over. "Where's Sol and Angeles?"

Strolling back downstairs with a pleased hum, MacPere resumed his seat as before and sipped at his apple juice, content.
(Sorry for the short posts, my mood is currently quite foul, so I'm trying not to allow that into the posts)
