"Erm..I kinda did that because the leader of this group uhh..." she begain to say then said the rest in a mutter "..broke my leg and stabed me in the chest."

Eyes widening at the info, Cerberus could only say one thing. "Whoa..."

Regaining his sense, he asked, "If I may ask, what happened?"

"They were..recruiting people for S.I.N.I said no...that there was no way I could join a team against the Overseer.He did somuc for us that the lest I could do was fight for him..." She begain to say.  

[Cerberus77]

"I see...I'm sorry to hear that."

Taking the last bite of his food, he looked over at her. "So, when was this?"

'Please, please, don't let it be after I started this post of guard duty. If I let them by while I was posted here, I could never forgive myself...'

"They replied saying I only joined the Overseer becauseI am a girl;they impied that I was weak.I said they joined just so they can have a night with..who-know-who.." Star said it and half smiled,not meaning to forget the name of S.I.Ns leader then continued "..that lit the flame for the fight.After some time the leader stabed me-I in return, punched him in the nose.He broke my leg, I broke his arm.Then they retrated-not wanting to get hurt any farther..."

After finishing Star replied "I don't remeber..the war has kept me so busey I didn't focuse on the dates as the days passed during the war.."

"Remind me not to mess with you, yeah?" Cerberus smiled a bit before pulling the cloth up. His eyes went back to Star as he added, "Yeah, I joked myself with a few SINs that's why they joined. Of course, sad to say, it was the truth, but they'd never own up to it."

Washing his plate, he went back to his seat. "I guess I'm glad I joined SIN for a different reason." He took a glup of water.

Star nodded with a smile "Don't worry.I usually only fight to protect".After a fewminutes of silence Star said "If you don't mind me asking..why did you join S.I.N..?"

He seem to stiffen at the question, but he answered it anyway. "I joined with that lot because of loyalty. A friend of mine from our mercenary band rushed off to join SIN, not thinking things through. Then again, he was only 15 and wanting to be some dark hero. I, seeing him as a little brother, followed to keep him safe."  

[KelticStar]

"Oh..." she said."My friend would have joined B.O.O for the same reason as you,but it was to keep me safe...unfortunitly he was a vampire...he was forced to join S.I.N"  

[Cerberus77]

"Sounds like a good guy, that friend of yours. I hope he's doing okay."

Leaning on the table, Cerberus couldn't help but wonder what else Star's been through. Then again, with the SIN/BOO war, whose life hasn't been turned upside down and spinned around?

Star looked down "..he got killed by vampire hunters..".

"...I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am, Star."

Lifting up his glass sightly, he muttered, "To the fallen." He drank the rest of the water after the toast.

Star only nodded in responce to his comment.Though sadly..what she had been trough before the war made her emotions all to easy to control over after her friend die...she cried..but it ment nothing mentaly despite her knowing that it should have ment something.

Leaning back in his chair and wanting to get rid of the bad memories, he looked upwards, saying, "Say, can you tell me something? How on earth did Ultima get that cerberus to listen to him?"

Star shruged "I guess they bonded...I do know that after I told him to get off of..'Fluffy'...he did and the cerberus said he would let ultima keep his legs because I told him to get off.I also remeber when I went with Ultima to get him,he joked with the Cerberus."
