Angeles came back down the stairs, the small amount of good mood she had gotten from the fish gone as she made her way to the front door, she turned as what was going on escalated between MacPere and Gren. She hated this day, trust was already a hard concept for her, but of this day of days, it was nonexistent.
"I should have hypnotized you all last night, and left you staring blankly ahead at nothing until the second," she tilted her head down, scooped up Moonbeam into her arms and hoisted Emily up onto her back before walking outside, the toddler near tears at the anger in the two mens voices.
Without another word she left and shut the door behind her.

Sosol felt a bit awkward watching the argument begin to unfold and slipped back toward the kitchen. Once inside, he pulled out his communicator. "Az...? You there?"
"Yeah, though you have really lousy timing!" She responded, the background noisy. "You know it's April Fools' Day...second busiest day of the year for me!"
"I-I know...but I think something serious is going on between Gren and Eli," he muttered, glancing at the door. "Any advice?"
"Kyaa!" Azana's voice was heard, followed by the fwoosh of a fireball. "They're better than that...they'll figure it out. Gotta go; I hate some of these mages' ideas for pranks..."
He heard the dial tone and sighed, closing it and shoving it back in his pocket. "Great..."

Sosol emerged somewhat hesitantly from the kitchen, a pot of tea and three teacups either in hand or hovering nearby.
"C-can I offer you something to drink...?" He asked, not daring to get too close to either of them.

"Huh-Wha? S-Sorry, I was caught in the heat." With a sigh and a smile, he stepped to the real Gren and pressed their lips together, smiling.

Sosol sighed, shaking his head at the pair and setting down the teapot. "You two...can be amazingly genuine in your ruses," he said. "At least yours are relatively harmless, though..."

Sosol quirked an eyebrow, serving the tea completely skeptical of Eli's statement. Even he knew better than to take that at face value, no matter the day...those two were head over heels for each other.
The thought came to him, though...there was always that possibility, just as there was between him and Azana. The way she reveled in adventure and excitement...it was very possible she'd grow bored with him. He shook his head; now wasn't the time to think that...

He laughed, scooping MacPere into a hug. "Your eyes don't lie, sweetheart...but fake photos certainly do..." he added for Sol's sake. Letting go, he began picking them up. "Man...Angeles is going to kill us, isn't she..?"
(Lo, off to class...thanks for the prank, dear. heart I'll see you all later, but at least there's tomorrow...)
