Mitsukai walked inside and sat down. "Damn sunlight." She muttered. Why is it always sunny in spring? The sun had been rather harsh today, irritating her skin.
(Spring is being rather annoying today...)

He took up the drink with thanks, sipping with a satisfied smack of the lips.

"It's April Fools Day...you guys aren't the only ones pulling pranks," Sosol explained, somewhat exasperated that she didn't bring him along as back-up. "Besides for Halloween, it's the busiest day for GMO field agents...mages and geniuses specifically have some really strange senses of humor."
He rested his head on his hand. "She's out there right now trying to do damage control..." He nodded to Mitsukai, though he found the statement about the sun in spring somewhat amusing...that was kind of the season's nature, after all...

Mitsukai sighed, and said, "That's why I hate April Fool's day... All my siblings know I'm easy to fool, so they always pull the pranks on me, and not on the others." She knew she'd have some sort of spell on her scythe today. "I get used to it, but they still trick me... And often use my love of sweets against me..." She muttered on edge. "Hopefully they don't know I'm here."

Mitsukai laughed, and said, "That's only because they're right outside the door, waiting for me to fly away." She smirked, then turned to the door. "Isn't that right Miharu?" Miharu appeared in the doorway, holding her stuffed rabbit. She sighed and said, "You got me again, Mitsukai-chan."

"Mages," Sosol said with the shake of his head, hearing Mitsukai's story of pranks past. "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...then it's hilarious."
He looked to Eli, hearing him mention his abilities. "Well, I've been refraining from doing so since I got here...to greater and lesser degrees of success. If I had done so, your plans, and your fun, would have been broken...not really worth it, if you ask me."
"Sol? Sol! Come in!" Azana's voice could be heard emanating from Sosol's pocket.
He scrambled to pull it out. "I'm here, Az...you coming home any time soon...?"
"Far from it," she replied, a deep roar in the background. "Things are really crazy this year! Keep an eye out just in case anything happens near the Inn...I left you there for a rea--whoa!"
"Sounds like you're busy...should I let you go?"
"Yeah, sorry about that! I'll try to-- oh, you want a piece?! Bring it, you overgrown--" A dial tone interrupted her sentence.
"April Fools...oi..." He put it back down on the bar, rubbing his temples. "It's going to be a long day..."

Gren shrugged, settling down onto a couch. "Ah...it was fun to come up with, but as always, I feel kind of bad afterward..."
(One post or two before I head home for way too much work. Also, it occurs to me that Gren is, more or less, dating Tamaki. biggrin )
