[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"She's weakened. SIN might view this as an opportunity to claim her. I want someone guarding her room at all times until she's recovered. I want regular patrols of the plains to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. We are on high alert, people." He was mostly talking to keep himself from panicking. His friend was hurt and he hadn't been there to stop it. He failed her again, just like with Jack. Nothing could hide the devastation on his face.

"I'll help guard" Star said to Knightsoul."What I'll do is gaurd around outside the Inn to make sure no one sneaks inside any windows.".

Blinking at Knightsoul's current state, he tried to assure the man that things would be alright. "Hey, relax. SIN isn't even going to find out that Hydra's gone, seeing as I won't relay a report. If they ask, I mention that maybe the worm got lost. His brain was small enough..." However, despite his joking about his enemy, a certain sadness appeared in his eyes, the same sadness he had when he spoke to Star about his 'little brother'.

"I'll take care of this. I'll ask some of my men to keep a watch on SIN activities. It's my responsibility to see to that much at least. That and it's my fault she's like this..."

Kageko heard voices, "Friends?", she thought fuzzily, "High alert?... patrols?... guard?... Ugh...." She mulled it over in her mind until they finally came together, "Are we in danger?!" she quickly sat up and shouted, "What happened?! What's going on?!" She sunk back down from exhaustion. "Ugh, I can't even sit up," she said, her mind still too fuzzy to think quietly, but at least she was awake.

" Slow down a bit" she warned Knightsoul " This place is neutral, and has a magical protection around it. Even SIN knows that. They won't try anything stupid, now that they know what they're up against." she put a hand on his shoulded. " Things just... happen. It was not your fault." She then looked at Kageko "And you, young lady, get back to sleep. You did well and need your rest. We'll take care of things now."

"Kage" he said as he rushed to her side "Are you alright? We were worried about you." His face was a mixture of concern and relief.

-after waking up from nodding off he sits up and looks around drowsily- "What....did I miss.....wh..ile I was gone? Is..everyone ok?"

Turning to Kageko, Cerberus smiled. "That's a relief. I'm glad to see you're alright. I was worried."

"Yeah," she said, "I'm perfectly fine," and put a smile on her face.
"Shoot," she thought, "I made everyone worry."
"I just overexerted myself a bit," she said, keeping the smile on, "I think I might have forgotten my limits."

She noticed Aris mumbling wearily and tried to use him to distract the others. "Maybe you guys should look after Aris a bit?" she asked, "He looks like he might need some help."

Star got Kageko some water "Here, drink this." she said as she handed it in her hands.

"no. Kage, im just exausted, been walking for a day and all. What happened to you?" -He wsaid puing his head down sideways and facing her-

"Ah, Aris, glad to see you're with us again" she smiled at him. " It was Kageko here, but she's alright now, and will keep herself out of trouble, at least for a while, right?" she said, loud enough for the girl to hear.

Step toward her, he held out the wrapped stone. "I think this is yours." He offered it to her. "By the way, name's Cerberus Valen. I don't think we've met...well, pretty sure we haven't. Wait..." Trying to think back, Cerberus was sure he had, but excused it to faulty memory.

She sat up, "Good I can manage to at least sit now," and gratefully took the water from Star. She drank it in sips, trying to look completely fine, or at least better than Aris.
