.::GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES::.

1.) Use of OOC isn't frowned upon in this guild.
In fact, I encourage you to use it to tell us if you have to suddenly go or something like that.
However, if you are using OOC chat, make a clear distinction between that and your character's actions.
I use double parenthesis (()) but anything of the like will work.

2.) Be semi-literate.
And by this, I mean be understandable.
You don't have to write paragraphs or use perfect imagery or anything like that.
Just avoid using abbreviations, try to use correct grammar, and spell words as best you can.

3.) Be active. I spent a good sum of money on this guild. Please, don't let it go to waste.
You don't have to post every day, but I'd like you to try.
You are allowed several characters, so you should be able to post somewhere, even if you're waiting on someone else.

4.) If you're going to be gone for awhile, PM me and tell me so I don't think you just quit.
You don't need to say why, but please let me know so I can post an announcement.
As for your characters, we'll make up an excuse for them not being there for awhile (like they're on vacation or something)

5.) Killing off characters is allowed only if a.) you own the character you're killing or
b.) The player who owns the character has given you permission and sent me a message telling me that they gave you permission.
Also, I ask for a good reason.
I don't want people killing off characters for no good reason.
Make sure it adds something to the story.

6.) Keep cussing in appropriate places.
You don't have to cuss for the heck of it, so don't.
However, if it's part of your character's personality, PM me and I'll make an acception.

7.) Respect your fellow RPers.
If your character is mean, they can be mean, but keep it to the character.
If I see anyone being a jerk in OOC chat I will ban them.
I want this guild to be an enjoyable RPing experience and I will not tolerate people who mess with that.

8.) This is going to be a PG-13 enviornment.
Therefore, you can do things like romance and violence AS LONG AS YOU OBEY THE RULES OF GAIA.
If you haven't read the rules, please take a quick look at them.

9.) Listen to Grobin.
I'm supreme master of the universe in this guild so if you piss me off, you're out of here.
I'm generally very agreeable though, and I'll probably give you a warning before I kick you out.
Therefore, don't worry about this one too much.
I reserve the right to add more rules as issues come up...

10.) If you have any questions at anytime, PM me and I'll do my best to clear up the confusion.
I promise, I don't bite. smile On a side note, feel free to send me random PMs too.

.::CHARACTERS::.

1.) You can have as many characters as you want unless I change my mind. Every time you create a character please, PM me so I know and then post the profile in the Character Profile Thread.

2.) I said you could use as many characters as you would like but I request that they be different characters and that you have a few in different age groups.

3.) Your character can live in either the apartment complex or on 4th street. If you live on 4th street, you get a house. There isn't much difference, just whatever one you pick.

4.) Your characters are automatically human. In order to get a character that is abnormal (ghost, vampire, etc.) you are going to have to play a bit. wink

5.) If your character is younger than a teen and has no family, they are put up for adoption in the orphanage so they can get one. If you do this, anyone can buy you and add them to their family.

6.) If your character is older, they can get a job and earn money to spend on items in shops. It sounds complicated, but it isn't. You get a weekly paycheck and can be promoted if I see you posting around a lot. I can dem
