Quote: It took me long enough but... hey.... it's worth it. you'll see mrgreen
It saw the situation it was in. In an instant, it looked around, watching the missles (which would have exploded otherwise) stuck on the ground. For the first time in the battle, the being showed emotion. The emotion that crossed its face was one of annoyance. "Fry!" The blast covered him completely, sending him houndreads of feet in the air. At first, a rising courtain of smoke covered being completely.
A gust of wind blew hastily, blowing the cloud of smoke away.
Something was falling from the sky but it was not precisely the being. Alecks was freefalling from houndreads of feet into the air. If no one was to catch him, he would've ended up being a 27-feet-radius puddle of skin, blood and broken bones on the hill's floor. He fell weakly. He appeared to be unconcious. One thing was sure, he was not moving.
The kid was only 10 metters away from the floor. In the blink of an eye, the kid opened his eyes. It wasn't an empty void that filled his eyes anymore, it was something else. He crashed against the floor. As soon as he did, the place of impact exploded, in a coiling pillar of white and red fire that extended a few dozens of feet into the air that sent streams of hot wind storming the hills floor as the pillar spun.
From the base of the blazing vortex, a figure could be seen, kneeling on the floor. It had pointy ears and teeth as of gold. Its boby was covered in gold markings and its eyes were not abysmal black holes anymore, instead, its eyes now flared as if the flaming vortex that covered him had spawns inside the being's eyes.
The being stood up. Streams of hot air burned and wilted the vegetation near it.
The pillar of fire torched out, like an engine, bursting out its last flames into the air. Around the blazing bodied being , the soil was like a spiral-like, clayvase, black plate. It walked out of the circle shaped crater incrusted in the ground. It stood there, at the tip of the shpere like crater, looking at his opponent for seconds.
Its frown expressing anger soon turned upside down. With a weak burst of flames, the being transformed back into the kid it was once. He would've been naked if not for his pants. Alecks stood there, or at least held himself from falling to the ground.
His eyes were almost closed and in his face it could be seen... he was about to faint.
============
"No you won't." A small thing hopped from the ground in Aleck's direction. With a flash of yellow light, the small thing that looked like a cricket now turned to a huge, perluscent white, mantis-like being.
Its body was covered in the same type of golden markings that covered the blazing being.
Alecks simply fainted, fists pressed close like a reflexsive reaction. However he did not hit the ground. It fell, or more like landed, on the creature's hide.
"I told you not to over do yourself. You're still young and your body can't take this much amount of stress and power. Atleast... not just yet.
The creature's voice more than sounded, thundered atop that hill. It gazed at the hoverbiker and looking away from him said: "You don't belong here but now is not the time to fight. You have two days starting tomorrow to leave. If you don't... I'll have to take you out... and believe me.... You will not have the power necesary to defeat me. For guardian angels can never die... and this..... kid.... has more than one."
