favorite rodents

what is your favorite rodent? caviomorphs are here too, because i'm pretty sure they're still technically rodents.

i myself ADORE my rats and cavies and such. but degus are my favorite. they're like even crazier rats. though of course with severely different dietary needs...

I love rats the most. I have loved them for like over 20 years. They are so sweet and loving <3

yeah rats are easily number 2 for me. they're great. the only thing degus have above them is crazy gay brotherly love. haha. they're so funny and wild and hyper. but other than that besides food, they're a lot like rats. sweet, smart, and adorable!

there's been slight debate though about whether or not caviomorphs should also not be classed as rodents. and i know rabbits aren't they're lagomorphs. but caviomorphs are technically rodents, but again...it's under debate, though that is why they are included. i personally don't know...degus and chinchillas act like rodents kind of but guinea pigs/cavies are so different and weird. heh

yeah i read about that the whole brazilian rodent might be placed into one catagory.
but the original guinea pig species is extinct there is a very simular one that still lives in brazil but the domesticated original caves no longer exist so there proberbly will be rodents becasue of there domestication plus they still have insisors lol.

That's a toughie. Probably either gerbil (which I have) or rat (which I don't have, but have fostered in the past)...

Or Degus or Guinea Pigs or Chinchillas...

BUT my favorite not-a-rodent-but-I-have-to-keep-REMINDING-people-that is, naturally, a sugar glider. *points at siggy* mrgreen

Rats are probably my favorites. They just have lovely personalities. C:

Chinchillas have to be my favorite.

They're so cute and fluffy with their big ears and long whiskers. I just love their little bushy tails and the way they hop/waddle around. Even the noises they make are adorable.

That and they have wonderful personalities and they all differ so much. I just love my chinchilla. Though I'd say my second favorite would have to be panda bear hamsters. I had one once and he was just adorable, like all hamsters. But I prefer bigger rodents. :3
