Hearing the woman drive off, Mimi sighed in releaf. Why was this happening to her? Feeling frustrated she lightly pounded the steering wheel. Mimi got on her phone, and called a number. "Hi, I need a safe house for a few nights. Alright thank you." She said the hung up her phone. She sighed looking over at Darrick, then back to the road. All I wanted was a normal day of work.

A few hours passed, and They reached the safe house. Mimi managed to get Derrick up the stairs, and in the room on the couch. He was stitched, and bandaged up. Mimi had some tea going, and she gave him some pills for the pain. The TV had cable, but was fuzzy, and the bathroom smelled of something fierce. Mimi sat in the chair, asleep. She was exosted from everything that happened today. The fight, and that chase.

Derrick was lost in a sea of darkness and emotion as multiple figures and noises echoed within his skull in a slight ghost like state. For one he could assume that he was falling into the depths of hell or maybe even getting one last sight of his old life before the void of death took him. As the figures were either past targets that Derrick killed or those who trained him to be one of the best killing machines in the new world. Of course this was not a pretty sight, and some would see it as pure hell.

Awaken you fool!

Was all that was needed for Derrick to cough out a bit of blood into his hand and come back to the world of the living. Slumping slightly to turn to Mimi but also hearing sirens in the background..

"No doctors or cops.. They will only cause an uproar and even more death to those around me..." pleaded Derrick but knew he needed to heal soon enough.. But yet the pain overtook Derrick and once again he passed out into the darkness, now only to awaken within a new setting a safe house.
Derrick could tell already that they were downtown since he himself had housed in plenty of the shitty safehouses that it had to offer. Rising from the bed slowly, dispite the pain then slowly limping his body toward a nearby window.

Mimi sat curled up, her head on the arm of it. She stayed in a light sleep for about an hour. Hearing Derrick get up, sturd her out of her sleep. Her eyebrows forwarded, and slowly her eyes opened. For a moment, she could only see a figure, limping to the window, but soon it cleared up seeing the figure was Derrick. Mimi quickly lifted up her head. "What are you doing, you can't be out of bed!" She said getting up running over to him. "We got away from her, for now. So we just need to lie low for a while." She paused for a moment, calming down. "We're down town." She said looking away for a moment.

Derrick only showed a slight reaction of body movement when he began to hear Mimi shift and slowly awaken, then finally turn his entire body to face her when she began to talk to him. For one he still wondered to why the hell she was doing this for him, and instead just brush him off and get on with her life.

Looking into her eyes with nothing short then confusion and happiness that she was here with him at the moment.

" I know we are downtown.. I've spent my share of days in this part of town.." turning back toward the window for one last glance then making his way back toward the bed that she allowed him to sleep on. " It just a feeling that will always stay with me... A feeling of always being watched and paranoid.." slightly ashamed to admitting such a fact.

" Thank you again, Mimi.. I might have dragged you into this but I will not allow them to hurt you.. It's the least I can do for you.."

Three cars would soon pile up before the entrance of what looked like a clothing line sweat shop. Exiting out of the sweat shop soon came an over weight male in a bad workout sweat suit and three armed guards all Neko in appearance. From two of the cars were simple guards also armed but human in appearance, then lastly in the middle car came out a single asian female in a sexy outfit and attitude in her walk that would make anyone envy.

"Miss Sakura.. It's always a pleasure..!" greeted the fat male with a smile and a light glance of the females body.

"Save it you fat ********.. Just give me the stuff before we get caught..." ordered Sakura before handing one of the fat males guard a case containing cash. This was followed by one of Sakura's men getting a small vial green in color.



Speeding across from the scene was a military style jeep, racing like a bat out of hell with no signs of stopping the jeep then began to play from its radio a bit of hard rock. In a panic the guards turned and aimed their weapons and fired at the jeep. But their actions were too late and the jeep slammed right into the frame of one of the three cars, thus killing a few of the guards in the process.

"A bit of love from the Fang you ugly ********> screamed a british male from one of the alleyways before firing off a high power machine gun which hit all of Sakura's guards.

" The Fang will chew you goobers like ******** puddin..." announced a taller british male as he himself launched onto the hood of Sakura's car and fired at the fat males body guards with a striker shotgun. Leaving them into a bloody mess, both Sakura and the male raced back to the main doors of the entrance.

" No so fast mate! " called out the final british male who was wearing googles but had enough of an advantage to activate a small chainsaw and instantly leaned into the body of the sexy asian female. Screaming in unison, as blood splashed all over the google male. Then as Sakura laid in two pieces from the neck, the google male began to laugh in a giddy manner. " Take care of this one, brother..."

The taller male rushed toward the fat male and aimed a kick to the fatties knee caps, bringing him down to the floor. Then in an action of shame and insanity shoved the muzzle of the shotgun into the fat mans a** and fired.

Stealing Sakura's car the three brothers screamed off into the streets, leaving their calling card of gore for their gang the Fangs.

Mimi sighed walking over to the chair, and plopped down on it. Her eyes shifted to him as he spoke. She looked away still listening, but lost in thought of how she was going to get out of this. The woman that attacked them, ran off for now, but Mimi wasn't stupid. She new that she was now into this, even if she didn't know who any of them were. Feeling a bit frustrated she pulled off her hand, and scratched the top of her head.

Hearing Derrick, her brown eyes shifted to him hearing his apology. "Stop saying that." She said turned her head, and lean back on the chair, "It's just the type of person I am." She finished, resting her head in her hand. I must be crazy. I bet he only wants me alive so I can keep that deal. Oh god... Mimi thought, and shook her head disagreeing with her thoughts. Mimi lifted her head, and brought her index finger to her lips, biting the nail lightly. It was a bad habit when you work on cars. When Mimi was in thought, that's what she would do, and working on cars, it leaves a pretty bad tastes in your mouth. "This is not what I wanted to do today." She said, pulling her finger away from her lips.

Mimi stayed silent for a moment, and continued. "I'm a collage student. I came here from, out of town, and wanted to make a living here. Things tend to change, but I never expected being chased by a freakish woman, and hanging out with a target." Mimi was mostly talking too her self, but they didn't know anything about each other, and it Mimi didn't care to know anymore. All she wanted to do was go home. Issue is, was it her home in Lunar City, or the small city she came from? "So what are we going to do?" She asked, "Are we going to be stuck here? Or are we going to-" Mimi was cut off, by the sound on a screeching car, and a crash. Mimi didn't want to look out the window. Hearing a chain saw, her eyes widened, and screams were herd.

Mimi put bother hands on each side of her head, "I'm in a world of s**t!" she nearly yelled. Mimi was out of bullets, and ended up throwing her gun, at some guys head, that helped bring Derrick up to the room. She didn't know if the guy was still passed out on the stairs. "Don't you know anyone that could help?" She asked looking up at him. He had to have known someone here.

"Fine then.. Not another word.." Derrick joked on her command to not to speak like some hero out of a fairy tale or that of a saturday morning cartoon. Even doing a little motion of zipping his lips with an invisible zipper. Then slightly lifting an eye at the mention that she doing all these things because of the person that she was.

While slightly confused that there were still normal happy people within the city, almost all be put to the test when Derrick compared himself to be the same as Mimi. Now adjusting his seating to sit up and against the wall with a pillow against his head. " Would I suggest hitting the reset button, or maybe Hawaii.." Derrick was being a smart a** but in turn just wanted to raise Mimi's spirits that Derrick ******** up with her day job and her little home away from home. "A school girl eh? Are the rumors true that its nothing more then a hangout for parties and sex? " asked Derrick in slightly interest since he never had any typical education and learned everything he knew from data logs, books, and movies. " Of course it could be worse... I could be the freak and you could be hanging out with that woman.."

Lightly licking his lips then stretching out his arms and legs, with the added effect of the pills and the training that "purity" gave him already was starting to heal Derrick back to normal. Of course Derrick could lie about his past and tell her something typical but since she didn't ask, Derrick didn't answer on his part. The sounds of gunfire and a chainsaw only caused Derrick to lightly frown and shake his head in sorrow that the downtown section only showed the crime and filth even more then any other part of the city. " We are going to get out of here now.. I do know a guy.. well kinda.. " Derrick soon rose to his feet, smiled, and grabbed his shirt and jacket.

" Its at this run down arcade.. Near north street and he should still be alive.." Derrick now awaited for Mimi to follow him to the car, as he was still armed with 4 shots in his holstered pistol.

Mimi pretty much ignored his little jokes, but they didn't lift up her spirits. She thought they were going to die, or hid the dark forever. Her eyes slowly shifted over to Derrick, as he said he could be the freak. "Heh, yeah like your in any condition to fight." She said standing up, and pulling out her keys.

They headed down the steps to the door, and Mimi got in. She turned on the car, and backed up once Derrik was in the car. Mimi had been down town before, and she tried to remember which way to North Street was. She soon drove off, and headed down the street. "Oh god, don't tell me you know those guys." She said disgusted by the seen. She kept on going, till she soon ran into a more run down kinda place, and looked for the run down arcade. "Hey," she said pausing fore a moment, "What if this guy isn't alive? Then what?" she asked looking to him.

Mimi came to a stop, and forwarded her eye brows, "Is this it?" She asked resting both hands on the steering wheel, and turned to look at him again.
