You invite me with your enticing eyes, Rested gently on the bed,
We close our eyes in the midnight wind But, even that can't hide the truth, Can't hide our love
You wrap your lovely wings around me, Silver, in the dreaming moon's glow
Reality is so bold, But easier to hide behind, And much easier to forget
Our feelings were just A word waiting to be spoken, A boundry waiting to be broken, A dream waiting to be revealed
We lose ourselves in the tempting night, Are lost to a secluded place called Love;
Your name is whispered on the wind, Your touch is interwined in the caresessing breeze, Your voice is the nightingale's song
As the sun peeks over the horizon, As the evanescence of our night Deludes me, I remind myself that goodbye is merely a phrase, That once the stars smile upon us, This dream will visit once again.
