So, I'm the new captain of the guild. I don't know what to do with it, so I'm curious. What suggestions do you guys have for it? This is a pretty big guild, and I'd hate to see it go to waste. Post your suggestions and feedback here, and I'll gladly take any and all options and possibilities into consideration.

I can keep it as that, but I was also thinking of expanding it to include fashion. What would you think about that?

what if it were asian trends? which would include fashion, music, and etc.

That would be a pretty good idea. An all-out Asian guild, with all the trends. This would also be helpful with the Subforums, since we could use one for each trend. I like the idea.

I had something similar before, but i became inactive as the owner when it was given to me, due to school and what not. I don't really care about being the owner, so thanks for the promotion ^^

main forum: Fashion style and trends

runway / brand names/ shops /casual etc. Practically anything goes unless it falls into a subforum category.

1 Fashion Street

this concerns trends such as harajuku styles. lolita, cosplay, and etc

2 make up, Decora, cell phones and accessories

for styles like cell phone charms, hair clips, and make up trends

3 music

all discussion about anything related to asian music

4 DIY

focused on crafts and making clothing or anything home made

5 articles news and current events

this includes magazine scans and translated articles

6 misc trends

general trends, and anything outside of the main discussion for example foods. anime and manga should go in here. since it is an asian trend but is unfocused for the entity of the guild


we should have a welcome sticky
a rules sticky
and a notice to the sub forums sticky

each subforum should have a focused sticky

Oh, would you happen to know anyone that could make a good banner for us? I'm not too good with that kind of thing.

Also, would home-made cosplays go in the DIY Subforum, or the Fashion Street?

making cosplay should be in cosplay thread, but how to sew should be in DIY even if it's about cosplay. making cosplay involves where to buy, and modding things in a simple way such as working with what's in your closet. we'll leave some leeway i assume based on example.

as for the banner; i'll ask a friend when he comes on. i have some other friends who can do it too

Alright. Just trying to iron out the details.

As for the banner, I say have it as a gif, and have it say something along the lines of, "Interested in the Asian community? Like the FASHION, MUSIC, and (third idea of the guild) of it? Join (Guild Name) TODAY!"

For the actual banner layout, when each interest of the guild comes up, it displays an example of it. For instance, the second line of the banner, "Like the FASHION, MUSIC, and (???) of it?" shows up, have FASHION, MUSIC, and (???) as separate items, and when the word FASHION appears, have the word and an example of popular Asian fashion. Likewise for MUSIC, have a popular Asian band appear.

(I realize now that we need a catchy name, and a third interest. Fashion, Music, and what else?)
