She lived with her mother in a town that wasn't really known for its pokemon population, so no one believed her when she said that two Ghost-types were haunting her. When she told her little, baby sister, who was living with their father in Johto, she sent back a Furret with Odor Sleuth and a few pokeballs with a note saying, "Cach thum." Jamie did just that, and then she was just a little less ostracized than she had been before. Over the next few years, Jamie made a few trips into the nearby mountains where she caught Rhyhorn and befriended Mightyena. Now that she's graduated middle school, Jamie finally decided to take her sister's advice and go to the Pokemon Academy so she can become a "real Pokemon trainer." Her father sent her an Oshawott as a graduation gift and her "starter," and she still doesn't understand why.
I just joined a Pokemon RP guild and wanted to have a copy of my profile somewhere. You see those paragraphs under the "History" section? About half of the other characters have nothing there.
I hope my detailed, two-paragraph posts don't offend them. (wonders if she's being sarcastic or not) |

Personality ✔ Kale may seem like a distant and cynical man, and that assumption is mostly true. He is truly a pessimist, always voicing his opinion about the worst possible outcome to any situation. And he really isn’t afraid to voice his opinion bluntly and loudly. Kale is hard to make angry, as he’s already assumed the world hates him, but once someone hits a sore spot, he could rival a dragon’s rage. The only person he softens for is Liu, and he does so completely. He dotes on the young dragon as if she were the most precious thing in the world, and he doesn’t care if people see him doing so.
Biography ✔ Kale grew up the son of a farmer, but he was never content to follow in his father’s footsteps. Instead, he pursued the art of swordplay and became a mercenary at a young age. Traveling all the land, he honed his skills and eventually fell in love with a shepherdess named Kathen. Kale finally had a reason to settle down and did so, starting a ranch where he and Kathen lived for quite some time.
However, just after their first son was born, an old sorcerer who wanted to hire Kale as a bodyguard visited them. He refused, since he had long ago given up fighting. The old man asked three times, each time getting the same answer, before giving in to a great rage and cursing Kale with “a violent death.” He didn’t think anything of the comment at the time since it seemed like what one would say when angry, but the truth of the sorcerer’s words became clear as time passed: Kale never aged a day.
He watched as his wife grew old and died, vowing to use his curse of agelessness to protect the village they settled in. But after watching his sons die from old age as he stayed in his prime, Kale began to doubt his resolve. Then, his daughter, the last of his children, succumbed to old age, and Kale could take no more. He left the village – where his grandchildren were just beginning to have families of their own – and never looked back.
Kale once again traveled the land, learning new skills and, finally, meeting Liu. His bond with the dragon brought some hope to his life, hope that he wasn’t doomed to be alone forever, and so he followed her advice to fight for something on the side of the rebellion.
Wardrobe ✔ Kale prefers wearing blue-dyed furs under his armor. His armor is mostly just chain with some plates covering his shoulders and shins.
✘Powers, Abilities, and Weapons✘
~ Agelessness: Due to his curse, Kale doesn't age. He is also immune to disease and poison, ensuring that, when death does come, it will be violent.
~ Weapons: He is about as good as he'll ever be with a longsword. He also knows how to use a battle axe and is training in the use of the spear. His personal weapon is an double-edged sword he calls Sunrise.
~ Fire Resistance: Due to his bond with Liu, Kale can tolerate any temperature she can and is immune to fire.

Personality ✔ Liu is very curious, unafraid to ask questions if she doesn't know the answers. She tries to stay positive, if just for Kale's sake, but often finds herself overwhelmed by the enormity of situation, especially the war. She has no temper to speak of, although she will throw small tantrums if she's upset. Liu believes that the Tenebris dragons are evil; she actually sees the entire world in terms of black and white, so compromise is almost foreign to her.
Biography ✔ Liu was always a gentle child. Born in a desert, she was raised to love every living thing. However, she didn't like being taught that things were shades of gray. She loved reading old books of heroes facing monsters and villains... and leaving as the victor. As the next to take up the mantle of the desert's defender, Liu's parents did their best to prepare her for her role.
And then the war finally reached them. Liu wasn't very old, but she could tell that the black dragons were bad. Her parents did, too, and were quickly killed for deciding not to side with Tenebris. Liu, who had been hiding, fled and never looked back. She was forced to learn how to blend in with humans and do human jobs, and the pain of her loss faded and healed.
Eventually, Liu met a young man who turned out to be much older than he looked. His name was Kale, and, after a tussle with some bandits, they bonded. Liu has never left his side since, although she has influenced his decision to seek out the rebellion.
Wardrobe ✔ Liu loves wearing a tunic and shorts or skirt. Whatever she's wearing, though, she prefers light colors of yellow, light brown, and orange.
✘Powers, Abilities, and Weapons✘
Human Form ✔
~ Fire Shield: Liu can conjure a shield of fire large enough to protect herself. It only appears as a flat disc, though, so she can only protect from attacks on one side. Anything that touches it, however, catches fire.
~ Inner Fire: She always feels comfortable at any temperature except the most extreme forms. This aura of warmth also extends for about one foot around her.

~ Heat Resistance: As a dragon of fire, she cannot be hurt by any form of heat.
~ Fire Breath: Liu can shoot a stream of white-hot flames from her jaws. She can continue this for as long as she has breath in her lungs.

Personality ✔ Ilessys usually comes across as a kind and calm person, sometimes even a little fun. She usually puts others before herself and is incredibly studious in finding ways to better the world. However, what she sees as “better” isn’t always what others think of as “better.” For example, she truly believes that the world is better under the rule of the Prince. Ilessys never schemes or plots; she is merely happy serving the Prince and continuing her studies.
Biography ✔ The swamp was always Ilessys’ home. She grew up as another in a long line of healers who served anyone who asked for help. Over her life, Ilessys healed many people, and she was happy with this until a village formed right outside the swamp. She was called upon to heal so many injured people, and, finally, saw that life for humans ended eventually. She didn’t like this simple fact and began studying ways to circumvent death itself.
Ilessys began practicing necromancy, using the dead from the village to practice when she ran out of animals to use. When she exhausted that too, she began to “make” corpses to work on. Due to her choice of bamboo traps, the villagers began calling her “The Bamboo Witch.”
Needless to say, her family was not happy with her new choice in study. But Ilessys wouldn’t be deterred, and she continued to research necromancy. Slowly, her natural powers became corrupted and she lost her ability to heal. Unable to see their daughter fall any further than she already had, they confronted Ilessys. After giving her one last chance to change her ways, they attacked their own daughter, who killed them both in self-defense.
It was then that she tried her first dragon soul-binding, not wanting her parents to be dead quite yet. It failed, however, and the end result was an abomination. Ilessys didn’t despair; she realized that it was her inexperience that caused the accident. With this in mind, she went to the Prince, offering her services in exchange for the privilege to continue her studies with better resources.
Wardrobe ✔ Ilessys is happy wearing whatever won’t get in her way while she’s working. Normally, this consists of snug clothing that covers her torso and thighs. She’ll wear other ornamentation when she feels like it.
✘Powers, Abilities, and Weapons✘
Human Form ✔
~ Necromancy: After much study, Ilessys has mastered simple necromancy. By tracing a rune in the air and uttering a simple incantation, she can reanimate nearby corpses. The power and effectiveness of each corpse is dependent upon how many corpses she animates at one time. She can create one highly effective soldier or two-dozen mindless zombies or any combination in between. Effectively, she can trade quality for quantity. However, the spell will only last as long as she continues to give energy to the spell. Creating permanent animations requires a lengthy ritual, one she prefers doing privately.
~ Soul-Binding: The highest form of necromancy, Ilessys only has a passing knowledge of how it works. In a ritual similar to permanent animation, she animates a corpse and uses massive amounts of energy to sustain it. At the end, instead of “tying off” the energy, she takes a nearby soul and uses it as the binding agent to keep the undead creation self-sustaining. This gives the creation the ability to think, although it cannot harm Ilessys and must obey her orders to the letter. (She doesn’t do this often, not only because souls are hard to come by but because it is very energy intensive and she can only reliably use it on creatures weaker than humans.)
Dragon Form ✔
~ Necrotic Breath: Ilessys’ breath became twisted as she studied necromancy. Now, her noxious breath will reanimate the dead to fight for her. These undead soldiers are mindless and easy to defeat, so she primarily uses this to slow down pursuers.
~ Corrosion Immunity: Ilessys is immune to all types of acidic substances.

Other ✔ Ilessys sees nothing wrong with binding a soul to a corpse. To her, it’s an upgrade complete with longer lifespan.
She tried to do this to her parents, but ended up binding both their souls to her grandmother’s feeble skeleton. While useless in a fight, Ilessys keeps the abomination around because, well, they’re her parents.

Personality ✔ You will not find another Fury more gung-ho about her duty to right wrongs. Jishin will throw herself in front of a charging dragon if she thinks it will do some good. She is happiest when she is protecting others, whether personally or through command of an army. However, Jishin is stubborn and serves punishment as she sees fit. Her morals are fluid, changing depending on the situation. Sacrificing your own army to gain a victory is deplorable to her, but she is perfectly fine destroying the enemy's army.
Biography ✔ When civilization rose, so did the Furies. Unlike their counterparts, the nymphs, they felt the life within cities and villages, the power of intangible ideals that had birthed them. It was in one of these cities that Jishin was born.
Growing up in the militaristic country of Torvald, Jishin followed in her parents' footsteps and joined the army as soon as she was able. The war with Tenebris was already in full swing, and she quickly climbed the ranks, going from foot soldier to captain to colonel within the span of five years. In another few years, she became one of Torvald's Seven Generals, the one leading the cavalry. Jishin lead the charge against Tenebris several times, but, eventually, Torvald surrendered.
Since she had so much embodied the country during the war, Jishin's power all but disappeared upon the surrender. Forced into hiding, she slowly regained her strength, finding work as a mercenary in Genlov, far away from Torvald and anyone who could recognize her. Only now is she confident enough to emerge from the shadows and rejoin the fight against Tenebris.
Wardrobe ✔ Jishin wears simple clothing, usually with simple patterns around the hem. She doesn't wear anything that is remotely impractical, like skirts or ornamentation. She will, however, wear a headband and gloves since they can serve a purpose beyond decoration.
✘Powers, Abilities, and Weapons✘
~ Weapons: Jishin has a bow and a mace and is proficient with both.
~ Physique: She's slight, more built for speed than brute force.
~ City Sense: In any permanent settlement, Jishin can commune with the buildings, landmarks, and semi-permanent objects that have been in the settlement a while. It takes some time for her to get used to the distinct 'dialect' of an area, though.
~ Larceny: As she is willing to do almost anything to ensure people get their just rewards, Jishin has gotten very good at getting into and out of places people don't want her going.
~ Justicar Strike: This ability allows Jishin to call down a single bolt of lightning to strike someone. While mainly used against those that have wronged the Fury, she can use this against anyone, although it is draining if used in rapid succession.
