Kinda funny how the captain is forcing us to be active or else she is black mailing to kick us out.

Few reasons why not all of us can be active :

- We have a life other than Gaia.
Yes some of us are always on here and their not active in the group.. hey kick them. but some gaians are busy and don't always have the time to even get on gaia itself.
- We go to school.
Some of us actually care about their education, whether it's college life or still in high school, we wanna do good. High school it's different.. but in college if you don't do your work for your grades.... BAM 20 000$ gone out of you're pocket because you didn't hand in your project in time or you failed the assignment because you were wasting valuable time on Gaia.
- We have bfs/gfs.
Sometimes you just wanna spend a night or a day with them. So you can't come on here 'cause you're busy with some wink wink or whatever the reason is.
- We don't all have computers available to us.
Some go to the library for a computer cause either they don't have one at home or their sister/mother/father are on it all the time. And sometimes the computers at the library are all taken.

And I'm sure there's a lot of other explanation why some people aren't active. But hey if someone is never on Gaia itself.. i think it would be unfair to kick them out because they weren't even ON to see all your millions of guild announcements ! Which I find a tad annoying to be honest.

So kick us out if you may. But I figure you're just being bossy and too demanding. And i am sorry if this has offended you but I'm just stating my thoughts and opinions.

No you didn't offend me, and I do get it. I am a full time college student, however, there are people that joined the guild a long time ago and then never made 1 post, and those were the people I was referring to. They joined before I changed the guild to this, and never posted, and then I changed the guild and still nothing. There was ten or fifteen people that are like that, and I didn't appreciate that, I mean obviously everyone is going to have a life outside of gaia, but it's just sorta a waste to join then never make an effort. But thank you for your input, and I'm sorry to get on your nerves. I was trying to get the attention of those who were doing this.

...sorry....I thought I was done, but I wanted to apologize for seeming bossy, that's not what I had wanted to come across as. It's just at one point there was over a hundred members and only like six or seven were doing anything, then after the guild changed, less then that, and I was a bit frustrated, and trying to figure out why in the world everyone seemed to just bail....It kinda bummed me out because I worked hard to get everything set up so that it would be easier and a little more fun to use, then no one uses it. I haven't sent out any guild announcements aside from the one in a while, but I agree, I should ease up a little....I really do understand that everyone has lives outside of gaia, but as mentioned before it just really bugged me that people joined when the guild was first originally started then never made any posts at all, or they only made one and that was it, but would message me constantly about needing stuff to do, or would add me as a friend and be online all the time, just not bothering with the guild, that's what was getting on my nerves and the reason behind me sending the announcements and such. I am really sorry that I have annoyed anyone, or come off as a d**k, because that wasn't my aim in the least.

I joined when the guild was created.. never made a post because... as you can ask any of my friends on here, i am rarely on. Mostly because i am stressed with school and such. But i come on when i can and if i don't have homework and such.

Maybe hire/get people to advertise?
As captain, and anyone in the guild, they should be doing it for free since they are a member.. But some gaians are always looking for spare gold. Hire them; 100gg / post .. and obviously make them able others viewing my posts so you can always go check yourself how many posts they've made and pay them at the end of the day/week/month. (personally it's better at the end of the day. or every two days. less counting)

Get an artist to make a really cool and outstanding banner.. and post it in some forums. Obviously you should ask before posting or else you would be spamming...and that it's not your thread to post in isn't right so ask if you can ad their thread/guild and they would for yours also.

Hold many contests with amazing prizes. Instead of getting people to donate to the guild itself, make a sub-account and make them donate to THAT account. And as captain you would have to swear not to touch that gold. And discuss what to buy for that contest. More gold, better prizes.

(yeah i've helped with guilds before, used to be co-cap. It was a summer thing)

Yeah those are good suggestions, and I want badly not to seem like a total jerk off, because I'm not, and I'm sure that maybe coming up with ways to coax people into posting and being active would be good, I just hate that I have to bribe, but I do understand that if you want them to do something, sometimes that's what you have to do.

Like I said before, I'm really sorry that I've come off as bossy and as a jerk, I just really hate for this to die since I have to save up the 20,000 gold to start it, I really hope that maybe by setting up a suggestions thread, and starting some contests, and getting things going in here, that it might help, I'm just sorry that I made anyone feel annoyed or think I was a d**k.
