Conventional Weapons

Well it appears as though this place has grown pretty quiet, but I'd figure I'd make a posting since this is the first new thing that's happened since Danger Days.

According to Frank's blog Conventional Weapons is the name of the album that never was, that is the one that was scrapped prior to the start of Danger Days.

I know I personally am really excited about it, especially since The World Is Ugly is going to be on it. Is anyone else out there? And if yes how do you feel about the coming "new" music?

I'm excited for it smile I've missed My Chem and I'm glad that they're slowly getting a little more active again. I heard a while ago that they've been building a studio in LA but I don't know how reliable that information is. I just really wanna hear what they've been up to =P

From what I know I believe they've built a studio in LA which is where they're working on their fifth album due out next year. But yeah its gonna be awesome to hear something new (even if all the songs are technically old) since we haven't gotten anything since Danger Days.

Also good to see this guild isn't completely dead haha

Haha yeah. I still check it most days. Have you heard Frank's new song off the Frankenweenie soundtrack? "this song is a curse", it's awesome. I have no idea what he actually sings about but it's a good song hahaha

Haha yes I have heard it! I like it but its not my style of music really. I think if he did more singing on it it would be better, but I know that's not his style and not what he was going for. Still cool though, and I like that he's still making time to do stuff outside of My Chem.

"Boy Division" and "Tomorrow's Money" are amazing!!!! I think Conventional Weapons is going to shape up to be an awesome addition to this band's repertoire mrgreen

I agree! I definitely like Boy Division better, I've been listening to it NON STOPPED. but they're both really great. I can't wait for the rest of it!

I do prefer the structure of Boy Division but there was just something about Tomorrow's Money that just clicked with me. But I can't wait for more smile I'm really excited for studio version of The World is Ugly and Kiss the Ring. It's going to be an awesome few months biggrin
