Ananda's apartment

After a moment of pondering, Kat shrugged her shoulders, "Cold? No, not really. I don't get cold easily. I'm normally hot," running a hand over her smooth, bare legs, she smirked, "I hope they don't distract you, Ana," she giggled softly, looking over at Ananda as she draped her legs across his lap. "I pride myself in my legs, being a dancer and all, I don't like to hide them in pants as long as it's not too cold out."

Taking one more drag of the hookah, she handed the hose back to him, "Tell me a bit about Bangkok," she asked him while handing the hose to him.

He rested a hand on her leg and grinned, "Your a very confident girl, I like that," smirking he lightly patted her leg, "Confidence is key when I met someone new, it makes them extremely easy to get along with."

"I spent my childhood in both Laos and Thailand, but Bangkok was interesting," a warm smile covered his face as he talked about his hometown. "The city was amazing, there were so much going on and it would overload your senses if you weren't used to it. It was a foodie paradise, I'm actually surprised that I'm as fit as I am with so much food around me for so cheap." he chuckled and took a long drag from the hookah.

Leaning her head back with her legs draped across Ananda, Kat closed her eyes and listened to him talk about his hometown, smiling when he joked about the food, "It sounds an amazing place with endless possibilities."

Ananda let out a cloud of smoke and grinned, "It was, but I think I like my hometown back in Laos a bit more. Luang Prabang is beautiful, imagine a city in the mountains covered in a light fog. Everything moves at a slower pace in Luang Prabang, no ones in a rush, and I love it."

"I don't think I'd enjoy to live there. Visit, maybe, but I like the fast pace style of life. I would get bored in a small little town like that. I need to be able to go out clubbing and have excitement in my life," sitting up, Kat looked at Ananda, "I'm more of an impulse person. I don't really think, I just do. It's gotten me into trouble, sure, but it's also given me a very enjoyable, fun life too."

Nodding knowingly and stretched his arms, "Yeah I understand, that kind of lifestyle is not for everybody." Ananda straightened up and looked back at Kat, "Sounds exciting, I'm sort of like that too but I like to plan out most things, at least that way I can gauge most situations."

Letting her legs drop off of him, Kat sat up, shrugging her shoulders. "I should probably do that more often," her lips turned upwards as her features brightened again, "But oh well. I deal with the consequences as they come, I don't run from them," she mumbled under her breath, hoping that Ananda didn't hear her say, "Hopefully it won't kill me one day."

"I get it from my mom, everything has to be planned out ahead of time with her," He smiled softly as he took a sip of tea. "I like the way you think, running away from your problems won't solve anything," taking another sip he replied to her hushed statement, "I can already tell your a smart girl, I don't think you'd get yourself into a dangerous situation"

Katherine nodded, looking around Ananda's apartment, she knew that being a stripper could be dangerous, the stories of men getting too attached were a constant with the girls. If they weren't careful, things could get out of control, quick.

Shaking her head as if she could shake the thoughts away. She looked over at him, "Your apartment is nice," she commented.

"Thanks, I worked my a** off the past two years so I could pay for an apartment and all the stuff in it. I pay for my apartment and my parents pay for school." He admired his handy work and smirked, "I do have a flare for design don't I?."

"I work at a Thai restaurant in L.A. if you ever wanna come visit me." Standing up he walked over to his fridge and looked through it, "Wanna stay for dinner?."

As Ananda got off the couch, Kat lounged across it, looking up at the ceiling, "Sure, what's on the menu?" Sliding off the couch, she walked over to the kitchen where Ananda disappeared to so she could hear him better.

"Well all I have in my fridge right now is a jar of kimchi and a carton of eggs. I also have some rice in the rice cooker, so I guess it's kimchi fried rice tonight." He placed the ingredients on the counter and got a wok from a cabinet next to the fridge.

"Kimchi?" the black haired girl inquired. As he worked on the food she lightly leaned on his shoulder, her hands resting gently on the muscular built man as she peeked at what he was doing. Considering she cooked for her and her mom for many years and all, Kat wasn't really that good of a cook and didn't know anything about different types of food, especially more foreign foods.

"Spicy fermented cabbage, it's a Korean food, I know it sounds gross but trust me it tastes fine." After chopping the kimchi up Ananda threw some oil into the hot wok with all the other ingredients. He then plated the fried rice and placed a fried egg on the top. Picking up the plates of food he motioned to Kat to follow him to the table. "It's a little bit spicy, but it shouldn't be to hot. Dig in."
