Don't laugh but ....I've always wondered what women do during their periods in certain stories, like, do they have pads and tampons in the wizarding world? or do they just cast some super absorbing spell on their underwear?
Are girls allowed to bring tampons to the Hunger Games arena? Or do they have to publicly announce that they are on their period and hope a sponsor will send a parachute? Or do they have to make their own out of moss?
and What do girls do in series like the Kane Chronicles or PJO or Nightshade or stuff like that??? Like seriously? Anyone else wonder this same thing?? maybe have a possible answer??

Not really. Its kinda one of the things that gets put in retrospect of the show. Like if Amy is facing the Silence, shes gonna be more worried about being safe than having a Tampon.

I realise this, but I was talking more about girls who have the worse end of the bargain for when they have their periods -- for example some of my friends have really bad cramps and headaches during their period, and that seems kind tough to deal with when you're already fighting for your life in the Hunger Games or something.

I have often wondered the same thing when watching the walking dead, the show never really adresses the matter and looks to more important things like food, though I guess it would depend on the situation and world around them
I think The Walking Dead one of the guys risked his life to go get some tampons for one of the women in their group, but I haven't even gotten into season 2 and I don't know how reliable my friends are on that front.

honestly, we will probably never know because in media it is found to be a topic that most people want to hear about. I'm not even comfortable with my own body doing that, let alone seeing other people going through that. I know that it is a thing and that it should be talked about so that people later in their life are not disgusted by by it, but i do not see that happening any time soon

Yeah, it seems like that really will end up being the case. Unfortunately, in a lot of places it's seen as something 'dirty' or 'unholy' or some other bs when it's really just a fact of biology for those of us with a uterus.

Yeah, same here! Especially towards the start of my high school career, I was like, the shmurr happened to basic biology??

Now that is an episode I would watch - no offense to any fans, but zombies just aren't my thing, if their yours, you knock yourself out with it, but they aren't mine, sorry.
