Why do you like Doctor Who so much?

I like Doctor Who so much because it makes my day better. I got into the show two years ago when I first heard about it on tumblr. Since I live in America, I got into it later than I would have liked to..
I learn things and I get attached to characters, I'm really bad at explaining things so I won't even bother to try but it just makes me a happier person. ^.^

I like Dr. Who because a) The Dr. is completely daft in the best of ways b) The plots are always crazy, and c) because, unlike other sci-fi shows, just as much time is put into the characters as the plot devices.

I like the Doctor Who because it's simply brilliant! They plot and characters are created perfectly and the actors chosen have never disappointed me. Doctor Who is by far the most creative show as I've ever seen.

I had seen bits and pieces of various episodes before I really got into it a few years ago. I love it because it's really funny and serious at the same time and also because I just love sci-fi! Daleks are also cool and Matt Smith is totally awesome. I've only watched the episodes from the revived series, but I doubt that my mom won't show me some of the serials from the old series.

I love the Plot-holes, and that you have to understand it to understand it (you know what i mean? no? EXACTLY)

I love the fact that the doctor isn't too serious and he tries to keep things fun. He does things for the fun of it.

I agree with that. I love how every episode has something that ties into every other episode and that is amazing. I love how fun it all is. The way he just goes, runs straight ahead to whatever it is. The adventures are always interesting and the Doctor is an amazing character. It is never boring, ever and that is just Fantastic! wink

I love that it keeps changing. I don't become tired of the characters because they keep changing, with the regeneration and new companions. With the change I appreciate the former characters more which allows me to watch every episode again. I love rewatching this series xD

I was first introduced to Doctor Who when I was searching on YouTube and I saw that there was a lot of Doctor Who videos and I wanted to know what was so great about the show and now I know! The first official episode I watched was Bad Wolf with the 9th doctor. I like the show because for one thing, it's original and it's better than the other shows they have on TV currently. And it's like comedy, sci-fi, action, and horror mixed to make together to make one awesome show.

The show is addictive and fulfills my appetite for adventure into the unknown. I love the fact that the 11th doctor makes everything funny. I like it when the doctor gets mad and that music starts up and you know something good is about to happen. I love the fact that it implies that aliens have been on earth this whole time and we just didn't know until the doctor came.

The real question is: What is there not to like about Doctor Who?

Personally i don't like Doctor Who...i freaking love it.

Filled with so many adventures...I guess it is the fantasy of it.

Personally if i got a chance to go on an adventure like that i would take it in a heart beat.

The mystery of Doctor Who is one of the things i love the most and i will never want to know his real name, because it would spoil it for me.

He is a crazy time traveling time lord that you can't help but love and in a way in each episode you get taken on his travels with him and feel the same emotion he does and his companions.

I love sitting down at night with the lights off and getting lost in those adventures. Makes a bad day good and is a nice escape from some of the harsh realities of life at times.

I don't think that anyone will care about the long emotional reason so ill just simplify.

I love DW because you get to feel so many things in one episode, the classic and the Reloded series are both amazing and to me are essentially the same series.

If i could describe why i love the doctor and DW it id use the words of Timothy from the family of blood:

"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun.He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe.and... he's wonderful."

There are no other words for the sheer amount of joy this show brings me.

Doctor Who is just one of those shows that really appeal to my personality. Along with this, it helped me and my sister bond with each other.
