Slatey-Cakes here, tentatively peaking through the rabbit hole to present a long-overdue update on .hack//'s presence in the Cosplay Avatar Arena~! Yes, yes, I know: "Slatey-Cakes, where have you BEEN for the past year?!" and the like.
Over my year-long absence, relatively little has changed in the realm of .hack//: still no localization of .hack//LINK, and to make matters even worse, .hack//VERSUS (and the accompanying movie) has apparently suffered a similar fate. However, our appetites were partially satiated by the release of .hack//QUANTUM, which introduced a plethora of characters harkening back to the original .hack//IMOQ series.
Yet, despite the relative stagnation of the franchise, I am proud to see that you all have gone and started dominating the Cosplay Avatar Arena. I mean, just take a look back at 2012 where there was a .hack// cosplay winner every week for 3 weeks. Now, THAT is what I like to see from our faithful franchise followers. Conseqeuntly, I have updated the listings to the best of my abilities. However, because I did, indeed, have to sort through almost 52 weeks of Winners' Circles, I may have missed a few winners; PLEASE inform me if that is the case.
Unfortunately, I must crawl back into my rabbit hole... So, until we meet again~

Slatey-Cakes back--once again--after a fairly long absence to present a long-overdue update on .hack//'s presence in the Cosplay Avatar Arena~! I'm very pleased to announce that, out of the FOUR contestants that have placed since this thread's last, THREE are actually novel entries into the arena~!
In order of placement in the arena (score-wise), we have at 4.45 / 5 the classic Kite we have come to know and love, followed by his short-lived pre-Data Drained form at 4.35 / 5. .hack//IMOQ Aura (well, technically pre-QUARANTINE Aura, because, you know, she magically grows arms in the last game) follows this at 4.33 / 5, and finally non-comatose Orca rounds off this roster of cosplayers at 4.24 / 5. Please give all these amazing cosplayers the love and support they so readily deserve~!
Well, until we meet again, my lovely guildies~
