"You get accustomed to it, and it's only for a short time," Zhong promised, scratching at his ears and running her nails down to the scruff of his neck.

With a pleased groan, the wolf leaned into the touch. His eyes closed and his tongue lolled out slightly.

"You, sir, are easy to please and distract," the demon hummed, using her other hand to scratch along his back to the base of his tail.

The great beast stretched, groaning another, slightly higher pitched groan that ended with a whine as he flopped back down on his belly.

Zhong smiled as she watched him. How had she ever lived without the wolf by her side. "How about we forget about things outside this bed chamber?" she purred, laying down beside him to run a single finger between his eyes and down his snout.

A golden eye cracked open and peered back at her. An ear twitched. "Anything you want, love..."

"I'm sure you know what I want," she replied, rolling over to her back but keeping her gaze on him.

Akira chuckled, shifting and tilting his now human head slightly as he studied her.

Zhong purred and smiled at him. "Think we have enough free time?"

"well..." Akira mused,, shifting and propping himself up with one arm. "The kids are distracted for a while... neither of needs to be anywhere..."  

[Alxavier]

"That's what I was thinking," Zhong replied, offering a hand to him.
